eCommerce website design company for what you sell.
A store selling laptops, lollies or lounges needs a different design, because shoppers ask different questions before they buy. DIGITALON designs each WooCommerce store around those questions, with your real products in the layout from the start.
Different products, different buying questions.
Shoppers buying an appliance compare specifications. Shoppers buying car parts need to know it fits. Art and furniture are judged by eye and by size, chocolate has to survive the post, and a gift has to arrive on time for someone else. A design company that uses one layout for all of them leaves the important question unanswered on most of them.
Our designers start with your product and the question your buyers ask first, then shape the product page, filters and checkout around it: specifications as comparable attributes, fit checks before the cart, large images where looks sell, delivery facts where size or heat matters. The structure underneath is the same WooCommerce, so the store stays easy to run.
One layout for every product.
Fine for some ranges, wrong for others.

- The same filters
- The same delivery note

How design changes with what you sell.
Six kinds of product, six different design jobs. Each links to our guide for that kind of store.
Specification-led: make products comparable
Appliances, computers and electronics sell on numbers. Specifications go into attributes that filter and, with Premium's product compare, line up side by side, and model numbers are searchable. See appliance stores and computer stores.
Fit-led: confirm the fit first
Car accessories, bike parts and archery gear are bought to fit a vehicle, a bike or an archer. Fitment and compatibility become filters and clear notes on every product, so a wrong-fit return is prevented rather than refunded. See auto accessory stores and bike shops.
Looks-led: let the photos work
Art, craft supplies and fashion are judged by eye, so the design gives photos room, keeps colours true and shows scale. Large images still have to load quickly on a phone. See art shops and beautiful eCommerce sites.
Bulky: size and delivery up front
Furniture and other large items need dimensions, delivery costs by zone and lead times visible before checkout, because a surprise freight charge can end the sale. See furniture stores.
Perishable or seasonal: plan around dates
Chocolate, lollies and seasonal ranges depend on heat, use-by dates and occasions. The design shows ingredients and allergens clearly, explains summer shipping and makes order-by dates hard to miss. See candy stores and gift shops.
Enquiry-led: when checkout is not the end
Firearms, ATVs and other high-value or regulated items often sell by enquiry, with the business completing the sale in person. The design leads to a clear enquiry, while accessories still sell through the cart. See firearm stores and ATV dealers.

- Your CRM integrated
Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
eCommerce website design company questions.
Cost, GST, industries, mixed ranges, rules, timing and search.
Ask us about your store ↗Does designing for our kind of product cost extra?
No. Designing around your range is part of every package's one-off price: $4,990 for Basic, $5,990 for Standard or $7,990 for Premium. Features beyond a package, such as a product configurator or a fitment database, are quoted before work starts.
Compare the packages on eCommerce pricing.
Is GST included whatever kind of store we sell?
Yes. The package prices include GST whether you sell furniture, food or fishing gear: $4,990, $5,990 or $7,990 in Australian dollars. Hosting, your domain and payment provider fees are separate.
Have you designed stores in our industry?
Our portfolio shows online stores we have built, from skincare to office furniture and made-to-order products, and our industry guides explain what each kind of store needs. If your industry is new to us, the design starts from your buyers' questions, which is how every store begins.
What should sit at the top of our product page?
Whatever your buyers check first: the specifications, the fit, the look, the size and delivery cost, or the ingredients. We put that near the top on a phone, next to the price and the buy button, and let the rest of the detail follow.
What if our range mixes several kinds of product?
Many ranges do. The design handles each part on its own terms: a furniture store might show dimensions and freight on sofas but a quick add-to-cart on cushions. Categories and product layouts make that possible within one store.
Do regulated products need a different design?
They need clear steps, and the design makes them obvious. Licences, permits, age checks and carrier limits are set by laws and providers outside the store, so we design around the process you tell us you must follow, without giving legal advice, and keep unrestricted items in the normal checkout.
Which package suits a store with a specialised range?
Usually Standard, whose filters and attributes suit specification-led and fit-led ranges, or Premium where shoppers compare products and search a large range. Specialised features such as fitment lookups or configurators are quoted on top.
Does a specialised range take longer to design?
A little, mainly in planning the attributes and the product page. A basic store usually takes two to three weeks from start to launch; a large or complex range takes longer, and we agree the timing with the price.
Does designing for our product type help search?
It helps shoppers first, and search follows: specifications and fit details become structured attributes, and from Standard each category and product gets search work, with AI search optimisation (GEO) at Premium. No one can promise rankings or AI citations.
Will the design still fit if we add a new kind of product?
Usually. New categories use the existing layouts, and a new kind of product that needs its own details, such as sizes or delivery rules, can be added later through our maintenance packages or a small quote.
Let's design around your range.
Tell us what you sell and the question your customers ask most before they buy. We will explain how the store's design would answer it, recommend a package and confirm the price in writing before the design starts, from our team at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
