A recent backup gives you a recovery point if content is lost or a change causes problems. Nightly backups are included in every monthly plan. If your website is already broken or hacked, our on-demand support can assess the fault and quote the recovery work it needs.

Website maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps a website up to date and usable: software updates, backups, security checks, monitoring and technical support. Depending on your plan, it can also include changes to text and images. Digitalon provides WordPress website maintenance from the Sunshine Coast for businesses across Australia.

How much does website maintenance cost in Australia?

Digitalon’s monthly website maintenance packages are Basic $149, Standard $199, Advanced $399 and Premium $999, all plus GST. Website hosting is included. On-demand support is $199 per hour plus GST, and a one-off Website Service is $399 plus GST. The right option depends on your website’s size, features and support needs.

What is included in a website maintenance package?

Every package includes website hosting, WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, nightly backups, 24/7 uptime and security monitoring, and ticket support. Software licences are included for websites built by Digitalon. Standard adds content edits and priority support; Advanced adds support for functional sites; Premium is for more complex websites. What counts as a content update?

A content update changes existing text or images on your website. Standard includes updates up to three times per month; Advanced and Premium include up to ten. Building new pages or sections, changing the structure and adding functionality are separate work, quoted through on-demand support.

Is website hosting included?

Yes. Basic and Standard include Standard website hosting, Advanced includes Advanced hosting, and Premium includes Premium hosting. Migration fees apply when transferring a website from another hosting provider to Digitalon. If you only need hosting, compare our managed website hosting plans.

Can you help with a website another agency built?

Yes. Send us your website address and the work you need done so we can assess it. We work with Australian and overseas hosting providers, and on-demand support is available for externally hosted websites. Included software licences apply to websites built by Digitalon; existing third-party licences and migration requirements are checked when we scope your support.

Do you maintain WooCommerce and other functional websites?

Yes. Advanced includes updates for eCommerce, membership, eLearning and booking websites, as well as complex forms. Premium covers larger eCommerce sites, marketplaces and corporate websites. eCommerce site updates are not included in Basic or Standard. New functionality is scoped separately.

What does the $399 Website Service cover?

The one-off Website Service includes an offsite backup, a WordPress version update, theme updates, an update and test of each plugin, a firewall configuration check, security scans and a visual check of each page. It excludes fixing existing technical issues, new pages, new features and updates to complex eCommerce, eLearning or membership sites. Those jobs are assessed through on-demand support.

Can you fix a broken or hacked website?

Yes. On-demand website support covers technical problems, broken layouts and links, form issues and hacking recovery. Send the website address and a description of the problem so we can assess the work and provide a quote. This support is $199 per hour plus GST.

Can you improve speed or add new features?

Yes. On-demand work can include performance and image optimisation, caching, firewall configuration, new pages, booking systems and other functionality. Content delivery network setup is available, with any required software costs covered by you. For larger changes, see our custom WordPress development service.

Is SEO included in website maintenance?

Maintenance keeps your website’s software and operation in good shape. Standard and above include Google Analytics setup and monthly website performance reports. Keyword research, search content and an ongoing SEO campaign are a separate service; see our SEO services if you want help with search visibility.

Where is your support team based?

Our support team is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We support local businesses and clients across Australia. Basic uses ticket support; Standard and Advanced add priority email and phone support; Premium adds a dedicated local team with a mobile hotline. Our 24/7 monitoring and help desk inclusions are separate from the time required to resolve an individual issue.

No. All prices on this page are in Australian dollars plus GST. The monthly totals including GST are $163.90 for Basic, $218.90 for Standard, $438.90 for Advanced and $1,098.90 for Premium. On-demand support is $218.90 per hour including GST; the Website Service is $438.90 including GST. Migration fees and separately scoped work are additional.
