Computer store website design for parts, builds and repairs.
Computer buyers want to know a part suits their system, businesses want a quote and a broken laptop needs a repair booked. DIGITALON designs and builds WooCommerce stores for Australian computer retailers from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, with PC configurators and supplier feeds quoted before work starts.
Computer stores serve three kinds of buyer.
A gamer choosing a graphics card needs to know it fits the case and that the power supply can run it. A business wants five identical laptops on one quote, and someone else just wants a slow PC looked at. A computer store website has to serve all three, and with prices and stock changing often, it has to stay accurate as well.
We build computer stores around those three buyers. Components carry their socket, memory type, form factor and power figures as attributes, so buyers can narrow a range to parts that suit their system. Business buyers get accounts, invoices and a way to ask for a quote, and repairs have their own pages with a clear way to book. Prices and stock can be updated in bulk from a spreadsheet.
Will it work with my system?
Component buyers match the socket, memory and power before they spend.
- Processor socket and chipset
- DDR4 or DDR5 memory
- Power supply wattage and connectors
STORE
Sell parts, builds and service.
One site has to sell a part, price a build and book a repair.
- Compatibility attributes and filters
- Quote requests for business orders
- Repair and service pages
What a computer store website needs.
Computer retail mixes fast-moving component stock with quotes and service work, so each is planned before the design.
Compatibility data on every component
Socket, chipset, memory type, form factor, card length and power draw are entered as shared attributes, so a buyer can filter processors to their board's socket and memory to the type it takes. Filters come with Standard; a checker that blocks incompatible parts is custom work, quoted to scope.
Custom PC builds and upgrades
Popular builds can be set products with a few upgrade choices, such as more memory or storage, each with its own price. A full configurator that steps through case, processor, graphics card and cooling with live pricing and compatibility rules is custom development, quoted to scope.
Laptops by use as well as spec
A laptop buyer may know what the machine is for, such as school, office work or gaming, without knowing which processor that needs. Categories by use and filters for memory, storage, screen size and weight come with Standard, and Premium's product compare sets two or three models side by side.
Quotes and accounts for business buyers
A business ordering several identical laptops wants a written quote, its own login and invoices it can file. Customer accounts and PDF invoices come with Standard, WooCommerce's bank transfer option suits buyers who pay by EFT, and a request-a-quote cart or account pricing is scoped and priced before work starts.
Repairs and services, explained and booked
Repairs, upgrades, data recovery and on-site support can each have a page, counted in Standard's 10 or Premium's 20 website pages. Fixed-price jobs can be sold as virtual products with no shipping; online booking with time slots is scoped separately.
Prices and stock that keep moving
Component prices and supplier stock change often. WooCommerce's built-in spreadsheet import updates prices and stock for many products at once by SKU, and items you can order in can be sold on backorder with a notice. An automatic supplier feed is an integration, quoted to scope.

- Your CRM integrated
Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
Computer store website questions.
Compatibility, custom builds, business quotes, repairs, price updates, cost and timing.
Ask us about your store ↗What does a computer store website cost, with or without a PC configurator?
A custom WooCommerce store costs $4,990 for Basic (6 pages), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) or $7,990 for Premium (20 pages), as a one-off build price. A PC configurator, a request-a-quote cart, a supplier price feed and point-of-sale connections are quoted on top, before work starts.
Every inclusion is on our eCommerce pricing page.
Do your prices include GST, and can our store show ex-GST prices too?
Yes. All three build prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, itemised on your invoice. In your store, WooCommerce's tax display settings can show each price with GST and the ex-GST figure beside it, which suits business buyers comparing quotes.
Which package fits a computer store with a repair counter?
Standard, in most cases. Basic's six pages are the shop essentials; Standard's 10 website pages leave room for repair and service pages and add filters and categories, customer accounts, PDF invoices, advanced shipping rules that price a tower differently from a cable, and keyword research with on-page SEO. Premium adds 20 pages, product compare, live product search, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay (which sets its own limits), order tracking and AI search optimisation (GEO).
Can buyers check that a processor, motherboard and memory will work together?
Yes, through matching attributes. Socket, chipset and memory type are entered the same way on processors, motherboards and memory, so a buyer can filter each category to what their board takes; product filters come with Standard. A check that stops incompatible parts going into one order is custom work, quoted to scope, and notes in each description cover what attributes cannot, such as a board that needs a BIOS update for a newer processor.
Can customers configure their own gaming PC online?
Yes, at two levels. Set builds with a few upgrade choices, such as more memory or a larger drive, are standard WooCommerce variations, each with its own price. A full configurator, where the buyer chooses every part with live pricing and compatibility rules, is custom development scoped with you and quoted before work starts; a build enquiry form is a simpler way to begin.
Can business customers ask for a quote and pay by bank transfer?
Yes. A quote request can start from an enquiry form on any package, and a request-a-quote cart that sends a list of products is a quoted extension. WooCommerce's built-in bank transfer option keeps an order on hold until you confirm payment, and customer accounts with order history and PDF invoices come with Standard.
Account pricing, payment on terms and a purchase order field at checkout are scoped and quoted separately; our guide to retail, trade and quote-based stores covers that model.
How do repairs and on-site support fit on the website?
As service pages with a clear way to book. Each repair or support service can have its own page, counted in the 10 or 20 website pages of Standard or Premium, with an enquiry form for bookings. Fixed-price jobs can be paid online as virtual products, and a booking system with time slots is quoted separately; see booking website design.
Can our staff keep up with price and stock changes after launch?
Yes. You receive the administrator login and own the store, and WooCommerce's built-in CSV import updates prices and stock for existing products by SKU in one upload, with one-to-one training in Standard and Premium. An automatic distributor feed is a quoted integration, and our maintenance packages and managed WordPress hosting cover updates, backups and security.
When could our computer store be online?
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. A configurator, a large component catalogue, a supplier feed or a point-of-sale link adds time, and we agree the schedule with the scope and price before work starts.
Will our component categories and repair pages show up in Google?
They can, but no one can promise a position. Standard and Premium include keyword and category research and on-page work, so component categories use the names buyers search for and each repair page targets its own service. Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO), with no promised AI citation; ongoing work after launch is our SEO service.
