Appliance store website design built around the specs.

Appliance buyers compare dimensions, capacity, energy ratings and delivery options before they commit. DIGITALON designs and builds WooCommerce stores for Australian appliance retailers from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, with the product data, filters and checkout options planned before the build.

Big-ticket buyers check everything first.

An appliance is a considered purchase. Before someone orders a fridge or a washing machine they want the exact dimensions, the capacity, the energy and water ratings, the warranty, and to know whether it will be delivered, installed and the old one taken away. If the product page cannot answer those questions, the shopper rings a competitor or walks into a big-box store instead.

We build appliance stores around that research. Specifications are entered as structured product attributes so shoppers can filter and compare, model numbers are searchable, and delivery, installation and removal choices are shown before checkout rather than discovered after it. The result is a store that answers the questions your floor staff answer every day.

What an appliance store website needs.

Appliance retail runs on product data and delivery logistics, so both are settled before any page is designed.

Specifications as product attributes

Width, height, depth, capacity, colour and energy rating entered as attributes rather than buried in a paragraph, so filters work and two models can be compared line by line. Product filters come with Standard and product compare with Premium.

Model numbers shoppers can search

Many appliance buyers arrive with a model number from a catalogue or another store. Model numbers belong in the product title and data so they can be found; Premium adds live product search that shows results as people type.

Delivery, installation and removal

Delivery, connection or installation and old-appliance removal offered as clear choices with their costs shown before checkout. Standard's advanced shipping rules price delivery by location, weight or cart value; paid installation options are quoted to scope.

Warranty and returns, stated plainly

Manufacturer warranty, your returns policy and what happens with a damaged delivery set out on product pages and in a policy page, so a buyer can check the terms without picking up the phone.

Payment for larger purchases

Card and PayPal payments come with every package, and Premium adds Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay for buyers who prefer to spread a larger purchase. Each provider sets its own fees and limits.

A range that stays current

Appliance ranges change every model year. Discontinued models, replacements and stock levels need a simple routine, whether you update the store yourself or import a supplier file as quoted work.

Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.

Your store, your hosting, your login.

Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.

The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.

01

No platform commission

Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.

02

Hosting you choose

Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.

03

Care after launch

Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.

04

One Australian team

The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.

From brief to first order.

A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.

Step 01

Scope and price

We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.

Step 02

Design

You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.

Step 03

Build and test

Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.

Step 04

Launch and hand over

We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

Online stores we have built.

These are stores and online sales sites our team designed and built. They show completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.

Appliance store website questions.

Product data, delivery options, payments, price, timing and support.

Ask us about your store
What does an appliance store website cost to build?

A custom WooCommerce store costs $4,990 for Basic (6 pages), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) or $7,990 for Premium (20 pages), as a one-off build price. A large range, supplier data imports and paid installation or removal options are quoted before work starts.

Every inclusion is on our eCommerce pricing page.

Do your appliance store prices include GST?

Yes. All three build prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, which your invoice itemises. Hosting, your domain and your payment provider's fees are separate.

Which package suits an appliance retailer?

Most appliance stores need Standard or Premium. Standard adds product filters and categories, customer accounts, advanced shipping rules and keyword research with on-page SEO, which matter when buyers narrow a range by size or brand. Premium adds product compare, live product search, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, order tracking and AI search optimisation (GEO). Basic suits a small specialist range.

Can shoppers filter appliances by size, capacity and brand?

Yes, when the specifications are entered as product attributes. We plan the attributes with you before products are loaded, so filters for width, capacity, brand, colour or energy rating work properly. Product filters come with Standard.

Can customers choose delivery, installation and removal at checkout?

Delivery can be priced by location, weight or cart value with Standard's advanced shipping rules. Installation, connection or old-appliance removal offered as paid options are quoted extras, because the rules depend on your service area and your installers.

Can our range be imported from a supplier spreadsheet?

Usually, yes. A supplier or stock file can be mapped into WooCommerce products with their attributes and images. The import is scoped and quoted once we have seen the file, because the work depends on its quality and the size of the range. The 6, 10 and 20 page counts are website pages, not a product limit.

Can buyers pay by instalments for a more expensive appliance?

Premium includes Afterpay, along with Apple Pay and Google Pay, on top of the card and PayPal payments in every package. Afterpay applies its own purchase limits and fees, so check them against your price range before choosing it.

How long does it take to build an appliance store?

A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. A large range, supplier imports or custom delivery options add time, and we agree the schedule with the scope and price before work starts.

Will our product pages appear in searches for model numbers?

They can, when model numbers sit in product titles, descriptions and structured product data. Standard and Premium include keyword and category research with on-page SEO, and Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO). No one can promise a ranking; ongoing work after launch is our SEO service.

Who keeps the appliance store running after launch?

You can, or we can. You receive the administrator login and own the store, and Standard and Premium include one-to-one training. If you would rather hand it over, our maintenance packages cover updates, backups, security and support, with managed WordPress hosting available.
