Web design Sunshine Coast, built right here.
DIGITALON is a web design, hosting and SEO team based at Wurtulla, building custom WordPress websites for businesses from Caloundra to Noosa and the hinterland. From first sketch to support long after launch, the work stays with that one in-house team, at a price fixed in writing up front.
People search the coast by suburb.
The Sunshine Coast is not one town. It runs from Caloundra, where the Pumicestone Passage meets the sea, through Kawana, Mooloolaba and Maroochydore to Coolum and Noosa, with Buderim, Nambour and the Blackall Range towns behind. Customers search it the same way, pairing a service with a suburb or with ‘near me’.
That shapes how we build your site. A builder working the new estates at Aura and Palmview, a specialist practice drawing patients from Caloundra to Noosa and a tour operator whose bookings follow the holidays each need different pages. We plan them around your services and service areas, name the suburbs you cover plainly and make it easy to call or enquire from a phone.
A service, a suburb, a phone.
Searches often name somewhere smaller than the region, like Buderim, Landsborough or Currimundi, and many are typed on the move.
- Whether you cover their end of the coast
- What it costs to get started
- A number that calls in one tap
SITE
Show the map you work to.
Whether you cover one suburb or the whole coast, every page should make that obvious to the reader, to Google and to AI answer tools.
- Service areas named, not implied
- Photos of jobs done on the coast
- Forms that work one-handed
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.

View details ↗How a Sunshine Coast project runs.
Wurtulla, where DIGITALON is based, sits on the coast between Caloundra and Mooloolaba, so Sunshine Coast clients are working with a team in their own region. From the first brief to launch, the project is handled on the phone, over email and in remote meetings, with each version shown to you on a screen share, so a client in Tewantin gets the same process as one in Kawana.
Clients inland at Beerwah or Maleny get exactly the same process, because none of it depends on travel. What a shared coast adds is context: we already know which suburbs belong with which centre, from Kawana's canal estates to the villages on the range, so your service areas start from a map we both recognise.
One coast, one point of contactOne contact, start to finish
One person answers your calls and emails for the whole project, so nothing gets lost being passed along.
Coast and range on one site
If you work the beach suburbs and the hinterland towns, one site can speak to both without reading like two different businesses.
Same price, any postcode
Golden Beach or Pomona, the packages cost the same, and extras such as more pages get a written quote first.
New town, same site
When you start covering another part of the coast, you can add the page yourself or ask us to add it for you.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.
Work from our home coast and beyond.
These are websites our team designed and built. They are examples of completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

What attracted us to DIGITALON is their promise to make sites that work. They absolutely delivered on this.
Sunshine Coast website questions.
Prices, GST, timing, content, search and what working with a Wurtulla team involves.
Ask us about your website ↗We work right along the coast. Which package leaves room for every service area?
Standard suits most businesses that cover several parts of the coast. For $3,990, its ten pages can cover your main services and give each key part of your patch a page of its own, with on-page SEO and keyword research included.
Essentials ($2,990, five pages) fits a business with one base and a simple offer. Premium ($4,990, twenty pages) fits a longer list of services or areas, or a business that plans to keep publishing. A page for an area earns its place when there is something genuinely different to say about it; near-identical suburb pages help nobody.
Is GST on top of the prices shown here?
No, GST is already included. Websites are $2,990, $3,990 or $4,990 and online stores $4,990, $5,990 or $7,990, all in Australian dollars, with GST itemised within that total on your tax invoice, never added on top.
Each is a one-off price, and the full inclusions for every package are on website design pricing.
Can we keep selling to visitors once their holiday is over?
Yes. A WooCommerce store lets a customer who found you in Noosa or Mooloolaba reorder from home. Basic is $4,990 for a six-page store with shop, cart and checkout, Standard is $5,990 for ten pages with SEO, and Premium is $7,990 for twenty pages with AI search optimisation.
The build sets up card payments, shipping rules and your product pages; eCommerce website development lists what each store includes.
A page for each part of the coast means a bigger site. Does that slow the build down?
A little, mostly because there is more content to collect. The first version of most sites arrives one to three weeks into the project; with a page for each part of the coast, allow for the longer end of that range. Three revision rounds follow, at whatever speed you can review.
Who writes the words and supplies the photos?
Mostly you, with our outline to work from. Each page comes with a content outline listing what it should cover, and the design carries on with placeholders until your text arrives. Royalty-free stock images fill any photo gaps.
The most useful thing to send early is the list of suburbs and towns you really cover, with a recent job from each, because that is what makes service-area pages specific rather than generic.
We have more than one location on the coast. Will phone visitors reach the right one?
Yes. The site is built mobile-first and tested on phones before launch, and each location can have its own address, map link, hours and number, so customers call or drive to the right one.
That matters on a coast where one business might trade from Maroochydore and Noosa, or from Caloundra and Nambour, and customers check the details on their phone on the way.
Will the site help us show up in suburb searches and AI answers?
It is built to compete for them. From Standard up, pages are planned around keyword research and on-page SEO for the service and suburb terms your customers use, such as Buderim or Nambour. At Premium, AI search optimisation (GEO) adds clear, structured answers about what you do and where, so ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI results can make sense of them.
Positions in Google and mentions in AI answers are never ours to promise. For month-by-month work on local rankings, see our Sunshine Coast SEO plans.
Is redesigning our current site different from starting from scratch?
Mainly in the groundwork. A website redesign starts from the same package prices as a new site, with one extra step first: an audit, so pages that already earn enquiries keep their web addresses or get redirects, and their search titles and descriptions come across.
Both of our Sunshine Coast case studies began that way: Taylor’d Distinction, a custom building designer, and Sunshine Coast & Wide Bay Gynaecology, a medical practice, were redesigns of existing sites.
Could we pay one monthly amount for the website, hosting and upkeep instead?
Yes. Our Small Business Monthly Packs are all-inclusive: the website, its hosting and its maintenance for one regular monthly payment.
If you would rather pay for the build once, our website hosting runs on Australian servers and our maintenance packages handle updates, backups and security checks, with support from the same designers and developers.
Our business is at the other end of the coast from Wurtulla. How does the project run?
The usual way: phone calls, email and remote meetings. You have one point of contact, you see each version over a screen share, and our contact page has a Schedule a meeting button for booking a time.
The same applies in the hinterland and further north in Gympie, so where you are never changes the process or the price.
Tell us where your customers are.
Send us a rough map of your business: the services you offer and the parts of the coast and hinterland you cover, from Pelican Waters to Tewantin. We will sketch the page plan, recommend a package at its fixed price and book a remote meeting if you want to talk it through.
