Web design Nambour for hinterland businesses.
DIGITALON designs WordPress websites for Nambour's trades, rural suppliers, shops and professional offices, built around the hinterland customers they serve. The work is done remotely by one team at Wurtulla on the coast, for a fixed price you approve before it starts.
The town the hinterland comes to.
Nambour sits at the foot of the Blackall Range, just off the Bruce Highway, and its station is where most Citytrain services from Brisbane end. It has long been where the hinterland comes to get things done: the shops and offices along Currie Street, Nambour General Hospital, and the trades, rural suppliers and firms that serve Woombye, Palmwoods, Yandina and the range.
A customer coming down from Mapleton or in from Kulangoor will often have several jobs to fit into one trip, so they check before they leave home: what you do or stock, when you are open, and whether you deliver or come out to them instead. The site has to answer that quickly from a phone and name the towns you actually serve.
Nambour, or the town they live in.
Some customers search the service with Nambour, the town they travel to. Others use their own town, from Woombye to Yandina.
- The service plus Nambour
- The service plus their own town
- Whether you deliver or come out
SITE
Save them a wasted trip.
Before anyone drives in from the range or the valley, the site should confirm what you do, when you are open and where you go.
- Departments, brands or trades on their own pages
- Delivery and call-out areas in plain words
- An easy way to ring before setting out
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.
What a Nambour website costs.
Choose by how much you need to say: five pages covers a sole trade, while a supplier with several departments, or an office handling several kinds of work, will want ten or twenty.

View details ↗A coastal team for a Nambour business.
We are at Wurtulla, on the coast south of Mooloolaba, while Nambour sits inland at the foot of the range; both are in the Sunshine Coast Council area. There is no Nambour office. You deal with us over the phone and by email, meet online when a draft is ready, go through it with us on a shared screen, and keep one contact throughout.
That suits a business already busy serving customers from Yandina, Woombye and up the range. Nobody has to leave the counter or the yard for a meeting on the coast, and the first call starts with what matters here: what you stock or do, the towns you cover, and how customers reach you.
No trip to the coast neededWhere you deliver and call out
The first plan maps the towns and properties you serve, from Kulangoor and Yandina to Palmwoods and up the range, so the pages can say it plainly.
No queue once you sign
When the contract is signed and the 30% deposit paid, work on your site starts; you are not added to a waiting list.
Nothing sent offshore
Design, code and support all come from our own team at Wurtulla, with nothing outsourced.
Built to be kept
We would rather your site keeps earning for years than sell you a new one when the design dates.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.
Sites from the same in-house team.
These are websites our team designed and built. They are examples of completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

What attracted us to DIGITALON is their promise to make sites that work. They absolutely delivered on this.
Nambour web design questions.
For trades, suppliers, shops and offices that serve the hinterland.
Ask us about your website ↗We run a rural supply store with several departments. Which package suits us?
Usually Standard. At $3,990 it has ten pages: one per department, from feed and fencing to irrigation, plus home, about and contact. Keyword research with on-page SEO is included, which gives a search for what you stock in Nambour a page to land on.
If the departments outgrow ten pages, Premium at $4,990 gives twenty and a blog you run for seasonal advice; Essentials at $2,990 suits a single-line business. To take orders online instead, look at our eCommerce builds.
Our bookkeeper needs GST shown on the invoice. Do your prices already include it?
Yes to both. GST is already inside every advertised price, from the $2,990 Essentials website to the $7,990 Premium store, and the tax invoice itemises the GST for your bookkeeper.
What each price covers is set out on website design pricing.
We deliver around the hinterland. Can online orders charge delivery by area?
Yes, from the Standard store up. Basic ($4,990) uses flat-rate shipping, a single delivery rate for every order; Standard ($5,990) adds advanced shipping rules, so a delivery to Yandina can cost less than one up the range to Mapleton; Premium ($7,990) adds a shipping cost calculator and order tracking.
The zones themselves go into the written quote first, and eCommerce pricing lists everything else each store includes.
What happens between saying yes and seeing a first version?
We agree the page map and content outline, then design and build the pages in WordPress, checking them at phone, tablet and desktop sizes; that stage usually takes one to three weeks once the project starts.
Your part in that stretch is sending content as it is ready, such as the towns you cover and photos of the yard or shop. After the first version come three rounds of revisions.
Our stock changes every week. Do we have to put the whole range online?
No. Pages for each department, the brands you carry and what you can order in usually serve customers better than a catalogue that is out of date by Friday, with a clear prompt to ring and check before the trip into Nambour.
If you do want every item online with prices and stock levels, that is an eCommerce build, not a brochure site, and it is priced on the store packages.
Some of our customers aren't comfortable online. Can the phone version stay simple?
Yes. On a phone we keep to readable text, a short menu and a large call button, and we test the phone layout before launch.
For a customer on a property past Mapleton who would rather ring than browse, the number, hours and directions sit at the top of the page. If you need to meet a particular accessibility standard, tell us at the start so we can scope it.
Which search terms would a Nambour business actually target?
Usually the service with Nambour, plus the towns you really serve, such as Woombye, Palmwoods or Yandina; keyword research, included from Standard, shows which of those people actually type before a page is written.
With Premium you also get AI search optimisation (GEO), which lays out your services and service area so AI tools can read them. Neither Google rankings nor AI mentions are ours to give, so neither is promised. For work after launch, see ongoing SEO from the same team.
Our current site runs on a monthly website builder. Can you move us to WordPress?
Yes. We rebuild the pages in WordPress, keep or redirect any web address that already brings in work, and carry across the text and photos worth keeping; once the new site is live, the builder subscription can go, because you own the WordPress site outright.
The move is priced on the same packages as any new site of that size; see website redesign.
When something breaks, can we ring someone on the Sunshine Coast?
Yes. Support is handled by our own team at Wurtulla, by phone or email, never by an offshore call centre.
Updates, backups, security checks and support are covered by our maintenance packages, and Sunshine Coast website hosting keeps the site on Australian servers under the same team.
We're used to dealing with suppliers face to face. How does a remote project work?
Through one contact who knows your business. You speak with the same person by phone and in remote meetings, review the drafts with them over a screen share, and can book times yourself from our contact page.
Our team is at Wurtulla on the coast, and nothing about the project needs a trip down from Nambour; the first call covers your business, the towns you serve and what customers need to know before they come in.
Web design in nearby centres
Save your customers the trip.
Start with the list you already know: the towns you cover, the questions customers ring about, and what you would like the site to handle. We will match it to one of the three packages, confirm the price in writing, then run the project remotely from Wurtulla with one person as your contact.
