Website design Gympie for businesses across the region.
DIGITALON designs and builds WordPress websites for Gympie businesses, from Mary Street shops to trades, suppliers and offices working out to Tin Can Bay, the Mary Valley and Kilkivan. Our Wurtulla team on the Sunshine Coast plans each step with you on calls and in online meetings, at a price settled in writing first.
Show every customer work like theirs.
Gympie, on the Mary River, grew from the gold James Nash reported in 1867, and heritage buildings from its gold-mining years still stand along Mary Street. Today it is the administrative centre of the Gympie Region, and its trades, rural suppliers, timber firms and professional offices serve places as different as Rainbow Beach, the farms of the Mary Valley and the beef country around Kilkivan.
That spread changes what a website has to prove. A builder might quote a beach house at Rainbow Beach one week and a machinery shed near Kandanga the next, and an accountant may look after dairy farmers and tourism operators in the same month. Each customer wants to see work like theirs, the places you really cover and a quick way to reach you.
Someone who has done it here.
Whether it is a beach house, a dairy shed or a shopfront, people look for a business that has handled their kind of job in this region.
- Their kind of job, named plainly
- A finished example near them
- Who runs the business, and since when
SITE
Match the work to the reader.
Pages sorted by the kinds of work you do let a farmer, a beach-house owner and a shopkeeper each find their example quickly.
- A page for each kind of work
- Your service area, Gympie first
- An enquiry form for when you can't answer
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.
Gympie websites at three fixed prices.
Size the site to the work you do: five pages for a single service, ten when coastal, rural and town jobs each need a page, and twenty for a larger firm or a business that publishes.

Our team works from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, south of Gympie and outside the Gympie Region. We don't have a Gympie office and won't pretend to. We talk on the phone, follow up by email and meet online, and one person looks after your project throughout.
Being further away also means we look at your business the way a newcomer to the region would: through a search on a phone. That is the view your website has to win. You add what only a local knows, from the towns you actually reach to the work each one brings, and every page passes you in draft before it goes live.
One contact, wherever the job isGympie in the wording
Pages lead with Gympie and the towns you serve, not the name of the coast we work from.
Say where you stop
If you don't go past Goomeri or out to Rainbow Beach, the site can say so plainly and spare you calls you would only turn down.
Shots worth taking
Our content outline names the photos worth taking on a phone, from a finished shed to your shopfront, so the site shows your own work rather than stock scenery.
Reviews at a time that suits
Book a review on our contact page and go through each draft with us on a shared screen, from the office or from home.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.
Websites we have built for other businesses.
These are websites our team designed and built. They are examples of completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

Gympie website design questions.
Prices, GST, timing, history, search and support, for businesses across the Gympie region.
Ask us about your website ↗Our jobs range from beach houses at Rainbow Beach to sheds on Mary Valley farms. Do we need a page for each?
Not for each job, but usually for each kind of work. Standard, at $3,990, gives you ten pages: home, about and contact, plus room for coastal homes, farm sheds, commercial work in town and anything else you do, and its keyword research and on-page SEO aim every page at real searches.
A business with one main service can start on Essentials, five pages for $2,990. A larger firm may want Premium, twenty pages for $4,990, which adds a portfolio or blog you update yourself: a natural home for finished jobs from around the region.
We aren't registered for GST. Do we still pay the same price?
Yes, the same. Every price already includes GST, so a business that isn't registered pays the same $2,990, $3,990 or $4,990 as one that is, with nothing added at the end. The GST appears as its own line on the tax invoice; whether you can claim it is a question for your accountant.
That keeps the cost simple to plan for a sole trader starting out in Gympie or a small Mary Valley operator. The complete list of what each package covers is on website design pricing.
Can our online store and the shop counter share one stock count?
It can, depending on your shop's system. WooCommerce keeps its own stock levels, and linking it to the point-of-sale system at your counter is a custom integration we scope and quote before building. For a shop on Mary Street, that means customers on the coast or out in the valley can buy what is really on your shelves.
A six-page Basic store costs $4,990: home, about, contact, shop, cart and checkout, taking cards and PayPal and charging flat-rate shipping. For $5,990, Standard brings SEO, advanced shipping rules, product filters and customer accounts; for $7,990, Premium brings order tracking plus Afterpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The full comparison is on eCommerce pricing.
Does working with a team outside Gympie make the build take longer?
No. Reviews happen on calls and in online meetings with the screen shared, so the distance adds no time. Expect one to three weeks between the start of work and a first version, then three revision rounds on structure and content that move as fast as your feedback does.
If your weeks are spent on jobs around the region, book review times early and the project keeps moving.
We've been part of Gympie for decades. How much of that history belongs on the site?
A short, specific version, usually on the about page: the year you started, who runs the business now and a photo or two from earlier days. In a city that grew from a gold rush and still has heritage buildings along Mary Street, a long local record is worth stating plainly, but customers mainly want to know what you can do for them now.
None of it needs to be written before we begin. The outline we send lists what each page should cover, placeholders hold the gaps, and a few dot points with some old photos are a good start for your about page.
Our phones go unanswered while we're out on jobs. Can the website take enquiries from mobiles instead?
Yes. On a phone, the call button sits at the top with a short enquiry form close below it, so a customer who can't get through can leave their name, the job and where it is, and you can reply when you're back at the ute or the office. Before launch, the phone layout is tested alongside tablet and desktop.
When the work runs from Tin Can Bay one day to a property past Kilkivan the next, that form keeps enquiries coming in while you're away from the phone.
Should our website say Gympie, Sunshine Coast or Wide Bay?
Gympie first, followed by the places you actually work, such as Southside, Cooloola Cove or Imbil. Sunshine Coast or Wide Bay belongs on the page only where it describes part of your service area, never as a stand-in for Gympie. Keyword research, which comes with Standard, tells us which names people type, and on-page SEO puts them into your headings and page titles.
AI search optimisation (GEO) comes with Premium: the work you do and the area you cover are written and marked up so AI answer tools can read them clearly. Google and the AI tools decide what they show, so we don't promise a ranking or a mention; for ongoing work, see our SEO packages.
We have one old website for Gympie and another for our Tin Can Bay shop. Can they be merged?
Yes. We plan one site that gives each location its own page, keep or redirect every address that already earns enquiries, and point the second domain at the new site, so old links and searches for either shop still land in the right place.
Merging is handled as a website redesign and costs the same as a new build with the same number of pages; afterwards there is only one site to keep up to date.
If flooding or anything else closes us at short notice, can the website keep customers informed?
Yes. On our Australian WordPress hosting the site runs from cloud servers rather than your premises, so it stays online while the doors are shut, and you can post a notice from the admin login on any internet connection.
If you would rather hand that to someone else, our maintenance packages put the routine upkeep with us, from software updates and backups to security, and a call reaches the people who made it.
We'd rather talk than email. Can most of the project happen over the phone?
Yes. Most decisions can be made in phone calls with one contact on our team at Wurtulla, south of Gympie on the Sunshine Coast. When there's a draft to look at, we book an online meeting and share the screen, because a page is easier to judge when you can see it.
You can pick the time yourself on our contact page.
