Web design Caloundra from just up the coast.
DIGITALON designs and builds custom WordPress websites for Caloundra businesses from Wurtulla, just north across Currimundi Lake. One in-house team handles the design, build, hosting and support, at a fixed price agreed before we start.
Locals and visitors search differently.
Many Caloundra businesses serve two kinds of customer. Residents of Pelican Waters, Golden Beach and the newer streets of Caloundra West compare the trades, clinics and services they will use for years, while visitors along Kings Beach and Bulcock Street want a quick answer on a phone: is it open, where is it, and can I book?
We plan the site for both. Service pages carry the detail a resident weighs up before calling, and the facts a visitor needs, such as hours, directions and a tap-to-call number, sit where a thumb finds them first. Each page names the suburbs you actually cover, so the site reads as a Caloundra business rather than a generic one.
Close by, open, trusted.
A resident choosing a trade and a visitor choosing lunch both decide from the first screen of results.
- Suburbs and service area in plain words
- Hours, location and a way to call or book
- Photos of real work and honest reviews
SITE
Serve both, then convert.
One clear structure tells Google, AI answer engines and the reader who you serve and where.
- A page for each service you offer
- Maps and tap-to-call that work on a phone
- Enquiry forms that take a minute, not ten
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.

DIGITALON is based at Wurtulla, on the far side of Currimundi Lake from Caloundra, so the suburbs, beaches and holiday seasons your customers mention are familiar ground. There is no separate Caloundra office: projects run by phone, email and online meetings you can book through our contact page.
Each stage is reviewed on a shared screen, so you can check progress between jobs instead of setting aside a morning. The designer and developer building your site are the people you speak to, from the first call to launch day.
Sunshine Coast team, one point of contactLaunch around your season
School holidays fill the beaches and the cafés along them, so we set review and launch dates that avoid your busiest weeks.
Suburbs written in, not tacked on
Pelican Waters, Currimundi or Caloundra West: the areas you serve are stated on the pages where customers look for them.
A fixed price in writing
The page map, inclusions and price are agreed before the build, and anything extra is quoted before any work starts.
The same team after launch
Maintenance and Sunshine Coast hosting come from the people who built the site, so a later change is an email, not a new project.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.

What attracted us to DIGITALON is their promise to make sites that work. They absolutely delivered on this.
Caloundra web design questions.
What it costs, how long it takes and what happens after the site is live.
Ask us about your website ↗How much should a Caloundra business budget for a website?
Our one-off website prices are $2,990 for Essentials (5 pages), $3,990 for Standard (10 pages) and $4,990 for Premium (20 pages). Design, build, stock images, plugin licences and training are included, so there is no second invoice for the parts that make the site work.
A 30% deposit starts the project and the balance is invoiced as it progresses. Full inclusions are on our website design pricing page.
Is your team actually based in Caloundra?
Close by. DIGITALON is based at Wurtulla, just north of Currimundi Lake, and one in-house team designs, builds and supports every site. We do not have a separate Caloundra office, so meetings run by phone or online, and you can book one through our contact page.
Which package suits a Caloundra café, trade or clinic?
Essentials suits a business that needs five solid pages: home, about, services and contact. Standard is where most local trades and clinics land, because ten pages leave room for each service and suburb, and keyword research and on-page SEO are included. Premium adds a blog or portfolio you run, AI search optimisation and 1:1 training for a business that keeps publishing.
We want to sell online as well. What does a store cost?
An online store is a separate eCommerce build on WooCommerce: $4,990 for Basic (6 pages including shop, cart and checkout), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) and $7,990 for Premium (20 pages). Basic takes card and PayPal payments with flat-rate shipping; Standard adds customer accounts, product filters and advanced shipping rules. See eCommerce pricing.
Can the new site be live before the summer holidays?
Usually, if we start early enough. Most sites take one to three weeks from project start to a first version, followed by three rounds of revisions at the pace of your feedback. If the holidays are your busy period, give us the date you need and we will plan the reviews back from it.
Do we need all the words and photos ready before you start?
No. We send a content outline that shows what each page needs, and we build with placeholder text and royalty-free stock images until yours arrive. Photos of your own premises, team and work usually do more for a local business than stock, so we tell you which ones are worth taking.
Will the site work for visitors checking us on a phone?
Yes. Every layout, menu, form and button is checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before launch, and your hours, directions and a tap-to-call number sit where someone walking along Bulcock Beach can find them in a few seconds.
What is the difference between SEO in Standard and AI search optimisation in Premium?
Standard includes keyword research before design and once-off on-page SEO, so each page targets the words Caloundra customers actually type. Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO): clear answers and structure that help tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini understand and describe your business.
Neither is a promise of a ranking or a citation. Continuing work on search is our Sunshine Coast SEO service.
Can you rebuild our old site without losing the Google traffic it gets?
Yes. Before the build we list the pages that already bring visitors, keep their web addresses or redirect them, and carry across the titles and content that work. A website redesign is priced from the same three packages.
Are GST and hosting included in the package price?
GST is included: every price is in Australian dollars and GST is itemised on your invoice. Hosting and maintenance are optional monthly plans from the same team; see Sunshine Coast website hosting and our maintenance packages, or combine all three in a Small Business Monthly Pack.
