Bundaberg website design for what grows here.
DIGITALON designs WordPress websites for Bundaberg growers, packers and food producers, and for the suppliers, trades and shops around them, from Bargara to Childers and Gin Gin. We work from Wurtulla, well south on the Sunshine Coast, and agree the page plan and price with you in writing first.
Every crop keeps a different calendar.
Bundaberg's city centre sits on the south bank of the Burnett River, upstream from its mouth at Burnett Heads, with cane fields running out to Bargara on the coast. The farms around it grow sugar cane, macadamias, sweet potatoes, avocados, chillies, citrus and much more, each with its own harvest window, and plenty of it is packed for buyers well beyond the Wide Bay-Burnett.
That puts different demands on a website. A grower needs pages a buyer in another state can act on: what you supply, when it is available, how it is packed and who takes the order. A pump or machinery supplier working farms out to Childers and Gin Gin needs its area and number up front, and a Bargara café needs hours that locals, turtle-season visitors and reef day-trippers can trust.
Who has it, and when?
A buyer, a grower and a local each search differently, but all want to know quickly whether you have what they need this month.
- The crop, product or service by name
- When it is available, or when you are open
- A direct number for orders and enquiries
SITE
Keep the calendar current.
Pages you can change yourself keep availability, harvest notes and opening hours accurate, so buyers and locals trust what they read.
- An availability page you edit
- One page per crop, product or service
- Tap-to-call and short forms for phones
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.
Bundaberg website prices, set before we start.

DIGITALON's designers and developers sit at Wurtulla, a coastal suburb of the Sunshine Coast, which puts them well south of Bundaberg and outside the Wide Bay-Burnett. We have no Bundaberg office and don't suggest otherwise: you'll talk to us on the phone, swap files by email and review drafts in online meetings, and the same person handles your project throughout.
Tell us when your crops come in, when the shed is busiest and when buyers start ringing, and the project is planned around it. Each draft is walked through with you on a shared screen; the site goes live only once you have signed it off.
One contact, farm or shopfrontReviews planned around harvest
Give us your busiest weeks and draft reviews are booked either side of them, so the website never competes with the crop for your time.
Availability you can change
Update what's in season, sold out or coming next from your own login, on the day it changes.
Buyers' questions on the page
Varieties, pack sizes, accreditation and ordering details sit where a buyer looks, so the first call is about volume rather than basics.
Provenance stated plainly
‘Grown in the Bundaberg Region’ goes into the pages where it counts, because buyers and shoppers both ask where food comes from.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.

What attracted us to DIGITALON is their promise to make sites that work. They absolutely delivered on this.
Bundaberg website design questions.
Prices, GST, harvest timing, selling direct, search and support, for growers, suppliers and businesses from Bargara to Gin Gin.
Ask us about your website ↗We grow two crops and sell mostly to wholesalers. Is Essentials enough, or do buyers expect more?
Essentials is often enough for two crops and a handful of regular buyers: five custom-designed pages for $2,990, such as home, about, a page for each crop and contact.
Once you want an availability page, accreditation details and room for each variety, Standard at $3,990 gives ten pages and brings keyword research and on-page SEO with it. A packer or grower with a long range may prefer Premium at $4,990, with twenty pages and a blog you can use for harvest updates.
Most of what we grow carries no GST. Why does the website price include it?
Because building a website is a taxable service, even when fresh produce is not. So all three prices, $2,990, $3,990 and $4,990, already contain GST, and the tax invoice we send lists the GST separately.
If your business is registered for GST, your accountant can confirm whether you can claim it back. What each package includes, line by line, is on website design pricing.
We turn our own chillies into sauces and sell them at markets. Can we sell online across Australia?
Yes, and shelf-stable products like sauces suit an online store well. Basic ($4,990) is a six-page WooCommerce store with card and PayPal checkout and a flat shipping rate. Standard ($5,990) brings advanced shipping rules, so a carton to Perth can cost more than a bottle to Brisbane, plus discount coupons and customer accounts. Premium ($7,990) brings a shipping cost calculator, order tracking, and Afterpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The store price doesn't cover hosting, domain registration, payment processing or maintenance. If your range mixes food that carries no GST with taxable items such as gift packs, the tax set-up is confirmed with you during scoping, and any courier integration is scoped and quoted first; compare the stores on eCommerce pricing.
Can work on the website pause while we pick, then carry on after harvest?
Yes. Our part comes first: the first version, which on average lands one to two weeks after work begins, later for sites with more functions. After that come three revision rounds covering structure and content, and those move at your pace, so they can wait until the crop is in.
If buyers usually start asking about the new season at a set time of year, tell us at the start and we'll aim the first version at the weeks before it.
Buyers ask about our accreditation and growing methods. Do we need that written up before you start?
No. The content outline shows where accreditation, varieties, pack sizes and growing methods belong, and placeholders hold those spots until your details arrive.
Scheme names, certificate dates and a few lines on how you grow are enough to begin with. Phone photos of the crop, the shed and the team tell a buyer who has never been to Bundaberg more than any stock image could.
Growers ring us from the paddock when a pump or part fails. What should our site show on a phone?
Your number first, as a button that calls with one tap, then the brands and parts you carry and the area you cover, from Bundaberg and Bargara out to Childers and Gin Gin.
Before launch, each page is tried on a phone, a tablet and a desktop, and the call button stays big enough to hit first time with a dusty thumb.
Buyers search for the crop, not the town. How does a grower get found?
By naming the crop, the varieties and the region the way buyers search for them. Standard and Premium start with keyword research, which shows the product and place terms buyers type, such as a crop paired with Bundaberg or Queensland; on-page SEO then builds them into page titles and headings.
Premium adds a further step, AI search optimisation (GEO): a clear, structured description of what you grow, when and where, written for AI answer tools to read. Where you rank, and whether an AI tool mentions you, is up to Google and the AI providers, so neither is promised; for continuing search work, see our SEO packages.
Our current site is one long page listing every crop. Can a redesign split it up without losing what already ranks?
Yes, with care for what already ranks, though search engines decide how the new pages perform. In a website redesign, each crop or product line gets its own page, the old page's address stays as an overview or is redirected to the closest new page, and content that already works comes across.
A redesign's price depends on the page plan, the content and any migration work: a straightforward one may sit within a website package, while larger or specialised rebuilds are quoted individually first.
In peak season our availability changes weekly. Who keeps that page up to date?
You can, on the day it changes. Self-editable content comes with every package, so a new variety, a sold-out line or the next pick date goes up from your own login; Premium also includes 1:1 website training if you want a walk-through.
If you'd rather hand it over, our maintenance packages differ in how much content editing they include, and every plan covers software updates, nightly backups and monitoring; the site sits on our Australian WordPress hosting, run by the same people who designed it.
Our family runs the farm together. Can several of us join the reviews from Bundaberg?
Yes. Online meetings can include everyone who needs a say, whether that is the family, the shed manager or your agronomist, and each draft is shared on screen so you all see the same page.
Your contact stays the same person at Wurtulla, well south on the Sunshine Coast, from the first brief to launch. We have no Bundaberg office, and meeting times are booked from our contact page.
