Create an online store that grows with sales.
A new business rarely knows on day one which products, payment methods or features its customers will want most. DIGITALON creates WooCommerce stores that launch with the essentials and add the rest as real orders show what is needed, at prices set before work starts.
Start small. Add what sells.
Creating your first online store is mostly a series of guesses: which products will sell, which payment methods customers expect, whether they will come back. Building every feature in advance spends money on guesses, and launching too bare loses the first customers. The sensible middle is a store that does the essentials properly on day one and is built so that features can be added once the orders tell you which ones matter.
That is how we create stores for new businesses. Every package launches with a custom design, a mobile-first layout, card and PayPal payments, shipping, SSL, a tuned firewall and nightly backups. Customer accounts, product filters, live search, Afterpay or a mega menu come with Standard or Premium, or can be quoted and added later, when the business is ready for them.
What customers will want.
Sales history answers questions a plan can only guess at.
- Which products sell first
- How customers prefer to pay
- Whether they come back
STORE
Sell properly from day one.
The essentials have to work, even when the range is small.
- A checkout that works on a phone
- Clear delivery and returns
- Room to add features later
Which features to add, and when.
Each of these earns its place once your orders show the need. Some come with Standard or Premium; anything outside your package can be quoted and added later.
Customer accounts, when buyers return
A first order rarely needs an account, and guest checkout keeps it quick. Once customers start coming back, accounts with order history let them reorder and see past purchases. They come with Standard.
Filters, when shoppers start hunting
If customers email to ask whether you stock a size or colour, the range has outgrown a single shop page. Product filters and categories come with Standard, and live product search, which shows matches as people type, with Premium.
More ways to pay, when baskets grow
Card and PayPal payments come with every package. If larger orders stall at checkout, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, included with Premium, give shoppers the ways to pay they use elsewhere; each provider sets its own fees.
Shipping rules, when orders spread out
Flat-rate or free shipping is the simplest start. When orders arrive from further away, or heavy items cost more to send, Standard's rules by weight, location and cart value keep the charge fair to you and the buyer.
A blog, when buyers need explaining
Some products need explaining before people buy: how to use them, or which one suits whom. Premium includes a blog for buying guides and how-to articles that answer those questions and give searchers more of your store to find.

Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
First online store questions.
Starting costs, launch features, adding later, timing and support.
Ask us about your store ↗What does it cost to create an online store for a new business?
Building the store is a one-off $4,990 for Basic (6 pages), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) or $7,990 for Premium (20 pages). Choose the package your first customers need; anything outside it is quoted before work starts, and features can be added later.
The eCommerce pricing page lists what each package includes.
Are the prices for a first store inclusive of GST?
Yes. All three are in Australian dollars with GST included, and the GST is itemised on your invoice. Plan separately for hosting, your domain, payment provider fees and any maintenance plan.
We have no sales history yet. How do we choose a package?
Start from what you already know about your customers. A small range with simple shipping fits Basic. If you expect repeat buyers or a range people will filter by size or colour, or you want keyword research and on-page SEO built in, Standard fits. Premium suits a launch that needs Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, live search, order tracking or AI search optimisation (GEO) from day one.
Which features does a brand-new store need on launch day?
A clear product page for each item, a checkout that works on a phone, the payment methods your first customers use, delivery and returns information, and contact details that show a real business. Every package covers these; accounts, filters and extra payment options can wait until orders show the need.
Can we add Standard or Premium features after launch?
Yes, as quoted work. Anything outside your package, from customer accounts to live search or a mega menu, can be scoped and priced when you need it. If you are already sure you will need several of them soon, compare their quoted cost with starting on the larger package.
Can a new store take pre-orders before stock arrives?
Yes, with a pre-order extension quoted at scoping, so customers can order stock that has not arrived yet. Without it, a product can be shown as coming soon with a link to ask about it, which still tells you who wants it.
When could a brand-new business take its first online order?
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks from the start of work, once your products, photos and wording are ready to go in. Extra features, imported product data or integrations add time, and we agree the schedule with the price.
Will a new store show up on Google straight away?
Not straight away. A new store has no search history, so it takes time for search engines to find and assess it. Standard and Premium include keyword and category research and on-page SEO, so the store starts on the right footing, and Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO). Ongoing SEO is a separate service, and no ranking can be promised.
Can we change the design once the brand settles?
Yes. The store and its design are yours, and you hold the administrator login. Changes after launch are quoted before we make them, and a full website redesign is scoped like a new build.
Who helps if something goes wrong after launch?
The same Australian team that built the store. Our maintenance packages cover WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates, nightly backups and 24/7 monitoring with support, and managed WordPress hosting keeps the store on Australian servers; fixes outside a plan are quoted first.
Let's plan your first store.
Tell us what you plan to sell, who you expect to buy it and when you want to launch. We will suggest the package that covers your first customers, list what could wait until later and confirm the price in writing. Our team works from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast with new businesses across Australia.
