WooCommerce dropshipping, set up behind the scenes.
Dropshipping on WooCommerce depends on what happens after checkout: supplier data in, orders out, stock and tracking back. DIGITALON builds WooCommerce dropshipping stores on the Sunshine Coast, with each supplier link checked and scoped before the build.
The work happens after checkout.
In a dropshipping store the customer pays you and a supplier sends the product. Everything between those two moments is the store's job: knowing what the supplier has in stock, charging a price that leaves a margin, passing the order on promptly, sending the tracking number to the customer and sorting out refunds when a parcel goes wrong. WooCommerce can do all of it with the right connections.
We set up the supplier side of the store on WordPress and WooCommerce: product data imported and kept current, prices with your margin over the supplier's cost, orders routed to the right supplier, and stock and tracking coming back. Whether those links run by email, a supplier's own extension or a custom connection depends on the supplier, so we check before quoting.

How dropshipping runs on WooCommerce.
Six moving parts, from supplier data to refunds. Suppliers handle some of them differently, which is why we check before we quote.
Supplier products in, kept current
Supplier ranges arrive as spreadsheets, feeds or a supplier's own extension. WooCommerce's CSV importer handles one-off loads; regular stock and price updates from a feed need an extension or connection, which we scope and quote for each supplier.
Prices with your margin built in
Set each price above the supplier's cost, any postage you absorb, your payment provider's fee and GST if you are registered. A rule that adds your margin automatically when supplier costs change is a quoted extension; small ranges can be priced by hand.
Orders routed to the right supplier
Each paid order has to reach the supplier holding the item, quickly and with the right address. That can be an automatic email to each supplier, the supplier's own system through an extension, or a custom connection we scope and quote.
Stock and tracking flowing back
Supplier stock levels stop the store selling what is gone, and tracking numbers go back onto the order and into the customer's email. Both depend on what each supplier can send, which we confirm before the build.
Australian or overseas suppliers
Australian suppliers usually deliver sooner and make returns simpler; overseas suppliers may widen the range but with longer, less predictable delivery. Show each product's real delivery time, and use shipping zones and classes so postage reflects where the item comes from.
Refunds when a supplier lets you down
Customers deal with your store, so a late, damaged or wrong parcel is yours to put right. Refund from the WooCommerce order screen, recover what you can from the supplier under your agreement with them, and keep both records together. We give no legal advice.
Build packages for a dropshipping store.
One-off prices with GST included. Supplier imports, feeds and order connections are quoted per supplier on top, because each supplier works differently.

Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

Questions about WooCommerce dropshipping.
Packages, GST, supplier feeds, order routing, several suppliers, margins, Australian suppliers, refunds, timing and search.
Ask us about your store ↗Which package does a WooCommerce dropshipping store need?
It depends on the range and the supplier links. Standard suits most: filters and categories for a large supplier range, customer accounts with order history, shipping rules by location and SEO. Supplier imports and order connections are quoted on top of any package. Compare packages on eCommerce pricing.
Is GST included in the price of the build and the supplier links?
The packages include GST: $4,990, $5,990 and $7,990, each paid once. Supplier connections are quoted separately before work starts. How GST applies to the goods you sell, especially from overseas suppliers, is a question for your accountant, and the store's tax settings follow their advice.
Can WooCommerce import a supplier's product feed?
One-off imports, yes: WooCommerce's CSV importer loads products from a supplier spreadsheet. Regular updates from a feed, such as nightly stock and price changes, need an extension or a custom connection matched to the supplier's format, scoped and quoted before the build and kept updated under our maintenance packages.
How do orders reach our suppliers?
As each order is paid, the store can email each supplier its items, send them through the supplier's own system using an extension, or pass them over a custom connection. Which one works depends on the supplier, so we check their options before quoting.
Can one order contain products from different suppliers?
Yes. Each supplier is told about its own items, and shipping classes keep the postage fair for items that come from different places. Show each item's delivery time on its page, because parts of one order may arrive on different days.
How should we set our margins on supplier products?
Start from the supplier's price, then add any postage you absorb, your payment provider's fee, GST if registered, an allowance for refunds and your margin. Keep the rule simple enough to update when supplier prices change; automatic margin rules are a quoted extension.
Are Australian suppliers better than overseas ones?
Not always, but they are easier to sell from: shorter and more predictable delivery, simpler returns and fewer surprises in transit. Overseas suppliers can widen the range; if you use them, show realistic delivery times and test each supplier with your own orders first.
Who handles refunds when a supplier's parcel goes wrong?
Your store does, because the customer bought from you. Refund or replace from the WooCommerce order screen, then recover the cost from the supplier under the terms you agreed. Agree those terms, including damaged and lost parcels, before you list a supplier's products.
When can a dropshipping store start taking orders?
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks once products and policies are ready. Each supplier connection adds set-up and testing time, which we schedule when we quote, and we place test orders through every supplier route before launch.
Will importing a supplier's whole catalogue help search?
Not by itself. Thousands of pages carrying the supplier's own text give search engines little that is new. Publish the products you can describe well and expand from there. SEO starts with Standard and GEO with Premium, and no position can be promised.
Map your suppliers before the build.
Tell us who your suppliers are, how they share product data and how they accept orders. Our team at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast will check each connection, recommend a package and give you a written quote that lists every supplier link.
