Web design Tweed Heads for border businesses.
DIGITALON designs and builds WordPress websites for Tweed Heads businesses, from trades and clinics working both sides of the border to shops on the Tweed Coast and growers in the valley. The team building them sits at Wurtulla, north of Brisbane, and each price is set in writing first.
One town, two states.
Tweed Heads and Coolangatta run together at the mouth of the Tweed River, with the state border along Boundary Street and over Point Danger. On the New South Wales side, the Tweed Coast runs south through Kingscliff, Cabarita Beach and Pottsville, and the Tweed Valley follows the river inland to Murwillumbah, the cane farms and Wollumbin.
Plenty of Tweed businesses work on both sides of that line, which raises questions a customer will ask before calling: whether you come to their side, which state's licence you hold and whose clock your hours follow. A Tweed Heads website should answer those in plain words before anyone picks up the phone.
Do you cover my side?
Customers on both sides of the border check where a business works, which state's rules it follows and when it is open.
- Coverage either side of the border
- Licences for the state they live in
- Opening hours they can trust
SITE
Make the border simple.
Coverage, licences and hours set out plainly let a customer in Banora Point or Currumbin decide in a minute whether to call.
- Service areas by town and state
- Licence details where they matter
- Hours that name the state
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.
Tweed websites, fixed in price.
A business with one service on one side of the border fits five pages; one covering the Tweed Coast, the valley and the southern Gold Coast usually needs ten; twenty suit a larger operator with several sites or regular news.

View details ↗From Wurtulla to the Tweed.
Wurtulla is on the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane, and we have no office on the Tweed. Phone calls, email and online meetings carry the project, a single contact on our side stays with you the whole way, and from October to April we remember that your clocks are an hour ahead of ours when we book a call.
That suits businesses kept busy on both sides of the border. Reviews are fitted around your jobs, and you supply the detail only a local has, for instance which towns send good work, which licences you hold and what customers from each side ask first, before each page is approved.
One contact for both sides of the borderCoverage by state
Service-area pages separate the Tweed towns from the southern Gold Coast suburbs, so customers on each side see where you go.
Licences shown clearly
If you hold licences in both states, each number can appear where customers from that state will look for it.
Valley and coast both served
Growers and suppliers in the Tweed Valley can have pages that speak to farm customers as well as town ones.
Notices without the wait
Holiday hours, closures and specials go up from your own login whenever you need them.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.
Sites from our own design team.
These are websites our team designed and built. They are examples of completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

Tweed Heads web design questions.
Prices, GST, licences, coverage and support, for businesses across the Tweed and the border.
Ask us about your website ↗We're an electrician working from Kingscliff to Coolangatta. How many pages does our website need?
Ten suits most electricians, which is the Standard package at $3,990: home, about and contact, a page for each kind of work, a page for each side of the border you cover, and one for your licences and safety details. Standard brings keyword research and on-page SEO, so each page matches what people type when they need an electrician.
A sole trader with one service area can start on Essentials, five pages for $2,990; a larger contractor with several crews or divisions may need Premium, twenty pages for $4,990. The packages are compared on website design pricing.
Will we get a proper tax invoice that shows the GST for our accountant?
Yes. Each price already includes GST, whether it is $2,990, $3,990 or $4,990 in Australian dollars, and the tax invoice lists the GST amount on its own line, ready for your bookkeeping.
Anything you add beyond the package, such as extra pages, is priced in writing before it starts, so the invoice matches what you agreed.
We shape surfboards on the Tweed Coast. Can customers order boards online?
Ready-made boards and accessories, yes. Basic, at $4,990, is a six-page shop taking card and PayPal with a single shipping rate; Standard, at $5,990, adds product filters for size and type, customer accounts and shipping rules by zone; Premium, at $7,990, adds Afterpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay and a calculator that shows delivery before payment.
A custom-order builder, where customers choose every dimension and finish, isn't part of a package and is scoped first; a custom-board enquiry form works on any site. Store hosting, your domain, gateway fees and ongoing care are costs outside the build; see eCommerce pricing.
Our current host's contract ends next month. Can a new website be ready in time?
Often, and there is a safety net if not. A first version usually takes one to two weeks once we start, longer for a site with more functions, and the three revision rounds after it move as fast as your feedback.
If the new site can't be finished first, your existing WordPress site can move to our Australian hosting meanwhile; our Standard, Advanced and Premium hosting plans cover that move once we have reviewed the site.
Our licences and insurance details are all on paper. What does the website need from us?
Just the details customers should see: licence numbers for each state you work in, the kind of work each covers and your insurance if you want to mention it. A photo or scan is enough for us to type them up, and the content outline lists everything else each page needs.
Placeholders hold any page that isn't ready, so the build keeps moving while you find the rest.
Customers on both sides of the border ring us from their phones. How do we stop calls at the wrong time?
By putting your hours near the top of every page with the state named, for example Queensland time or New South Wales time, next to a button that calls you in one tap. In summer the two states sit an hour apart, so naming the state saves a missed call.
Every layout is looked at on a phone, a tablet and a desktop before launch, so the hours and call button sit where a thumb expects them.
Can our site show up for Kingscliff and Pottsville as well as Tweed Heads?
Yes, if those towns are genuinely part of your work. From Standard, keyword research shows how people in each town search, and on-page SEO names them in titles, headings and descriptions; where a town gets its own page, it carries real detail about the work you do there, not a copy of another page with the name changed.
Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO), describing your services and coverage so AI assistants can follow them. Search engines and AI tools choose what they show, so we promise no position; our SEO packages cover longer-term work.
Our old site talks about the Gold Coast, but our business is in Tweed Heads. Can a redesign fix that?
It can. A website redesign can re-centre the pages on the Tweed, keep the addresses that already bring enquiries, redirect any that change and carry across the content that still works, so you don't lose what the old site earned.
What it costs depends on how much changes; a modest rewrite may come within a website package, and a deeper rebuild is quoted first.
Do we have to keep paying our old web developer for small changes?
No. Every site comes with self-editable content, so you can change words, photos and hours yourself, and Premium adds 1:1 training if someone new will be running it.
For the technical side, our maintenance packages handle WordPress updates, security and backups, and hosting on Australian servers is available from the same team.
Can a team on the Sunshine Coast really know the Tweed well enough?
We rely on you for the local knowledge, and we say so. You know which towns, jobs and customers matter; we know how to turn that into a clear website. One contact on our Wurtulla team runs the project by phone, email and online meeting, with drafts on a shared screen, and we have no Tweed Heads office.
Arrange a first call through our contact page, and look at finished work in our portfolio.
