Powersports store website design matched to every machine.
Riders shop for parts, accessories and consumables by the machine they own, whether it is a dirt bike, a quad, a side-by-side or a personal watercraft. DIGITALON, at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, builds WooCommerce stores for Australian powersports retailers around that fitment.
Every part starts with the machine.
A powersports parts customer starts with one question: will it fit my machine? The answer depends on the vehicle type, make, model and year, and a store that cannot give it loses the sale or ships a return. Add tyres and other bulky items, oils, aerosols and batteries that carriers treat as dangerous goods, and seasons that move demand, and a powersports store has more to plan than most.
This page covers the parts, accessories and consumables side of a powersports business. Selling new and used machines by enquiry is covered in our dealer website guide, riding gear and helmets in motorcycle gear store design, and car parts in auto parts store design. Many businesses sell all three, and one store can carry them, each with its own path.

What a powersports parts store needs.
Six areas to plan before a powersports parts range goes online.
Fitment across vehicle types
A part fits a vehicle type, make, model and range of years, and many fit several machines. Fitment stored as product data lets riders choose their machine and see only what fits; a dedicated fitment selector across a large catalogue is quoted to scope.
OEM and aftermarket numbers
Riders and workshops search by part number. Keep the manufacturer's number and your own SKU on every product, list superseded numbers where you have them, and show which aftermarket parts replace which original ones.
Tyres and bulky items
Tyres, exhausts, racks and stands are heavy or awkward to ship. Shipping classes group them by size and weight so the cart charges the right freight, and some items can be set to pickup only, collected from the counter or workshop.
Dangerous goods in transit
Oils, fuel additives, aerosol lubricants and some batteries are dangerous goods for carriers, with limits on how and where they travel. Each carrier sets its own rules; we check yours before the build, then use shipping classes to restrict those items to services that accept them, or to pickup.
Seasons and new model years
Demand follows riding seasons, school holidays and new model releases. Featured categories, scheduled sale prices and backorders for incoming stock let the store move with the season without rebuilding pages.
Parts enquiries when fit is unclear
Some customers need a part identified before they can order it. A parts enquiry form that asks for the machine, year and frame or VIN number lets your team confirm the right part, and servicing pages can point riders to your workshop.

Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

Questions about powersports store website design.
Fitment, part numbers, dangerous goods, bulky freight, payments, moving across, packages, price, GST, timing and search.
Ask us about your store ↗Where does a powersports parts store sit in the price range?
Most sit at Standard, $5,990, for filters, customer accounts, advanced shipping rules and SEO. Premium, $7,990, adds live search, product compare and order tracking for big catalogues, and Basic, $4,990, suits a small accessory range. A fitment selector or a large import is quoted; every inclusion is on our eCommerce pricing page.
Are the build prices GST-inclusive, like our retail prices?
Yes. $4,990, $5,990 and $7,990 include GST, and your tax invoice shows the amount. Hosting, your domain, payment provider fees and quoted work such as a fitment selector or carrier connections are separate, each listed apart in your quote.
How do riders see only the parts that fit their machine?
Through fitment data. Each part lists the vehicle types, makes, models and years it fits, so filters from Standard can narrow the catalogue; a guided selector that remembers the rider's machine across the store is a quoted extension or custom work. The data usually starts from supplier files and needs checking.
Can we sell oils, aerosols and batteries online?
Yes, within each carrier's dangerous-goods rules, which limit how those items travel and can rule out air transport. Shipping classes can send them only by services that accept them, or set them to pickup. We check your carriers' current rules before the build; the rules themselves are theirs.
How is freight charged on tyres and exhausts?
With shipping classes by size and weight, so a set of tyres is charged differently from a spark plug. Every package has flat-rate, free and local pickup options; Standard adds rules by weight, location and cart value, and Premium adds a shipping cost calculator. Live courier rates are a quoted add-on.
Should OEM numbers or our own codes go on each part?
Both. Riders and workshops often search by the manufacturer's part number, while your own SKU keeps stock and supplier orders straight. Superseded numbers can be listed as well, so a search for an old number still finds the current part.
Which payment options suit riders buying bigger parts?
Cards and PayPal come with every package, and Premium adds Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay for larger purchases such as exhausts or tyre sets. Afterpay sets its own limits and fees, and we give no finance advice; finance for whole machines belongs with the dealer side of the business.
Can our current parts website move to WooCommerce?
Usually. Products, fitment data, customers and order history can be carried across from most platforms after an assessment and a separate quote, with addresses that rank kept or redirected. Fitment data from older systems often needs cleaning, which the assessment measures before we quote.
Can the store open before all the fitment data is ready?
Yes. A basic store usually takes two to three weeks, while fitment data for a large catalogue can take longer to clean, so opening with your best-selling lines fully mapped and adding the rest after launch is often quicker. We agree the timing with the scope and price before work starts.
Will searches for a part number bring riders to our store?
They can, when part numbers, makes and models are in the product data, but no one can promise a position, traffic or an AI citation. Standard includes keyword and category research with on-page SEO, Premium adds GEO, and ongoing SEO is separate. You own the store, and our maintenance packages can look after updates.
Fit every part to the machine.
Tell us which machines your customers ride, how big your parts range is and how you ship heavy or restricted items. Our team at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast will plan the fitment data and shipping rules, recommend a package and confirm the price before work starts.
