WooCommerce developers who build stores that sell.
DIGITALON is a team of WooCommerce developers at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast. We design, code and support custom WordPress stores for businesses across Australia, at a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
Installing WooCommerce is the easy part.
Anyone can install WooCommerce in an afternoon. What a developer adds is the part that decides whether the store works as a business: product data structured so filters and stock behave, shipping and tax rules that match how you actually send orders, a checkout with the payment methods your customers expect, and pages quick enough on a phone that people finish the order.
WordPress and WooCommerce is the only platform we build stores on, so the same team knows the design, the code and the hosting underneath it. When you need something WooCommerce does not do out of the box, such as wholesale pricing, a product builder or an accounting connection, we scope it, quote it and build it, and it stays part of a store you own.
Fewer manual steps.
Most businesses want a store that runs with less typing, not a longer feature list.
- Products, stock and variations set up once
- Orders that reach your accounts and couriers
- A checkout that works first time on a phone
STORE
Built, tested, handed over.
Every store is tested with real orders before launch, then handed over with the administrator login.
- Custom design, never a bought template
- Test orders through every payment method
- Your login and ownership from day one
What our WooCommerce developers build.
The core of every WooCommerce store is the same. These are the parts our developers plan and build around it for each business.
Catalogues that stay tidy
Categories, attributes and variations are planned before any product goes in, so filters work, stock counts stay accurate and a shopper finds the right size or colour in a couple of taps.
Payments and GST set up properly
Stripe and PayPal are set up in every package, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay at Premium, and GST and shipping calculated the way your accountant expects.
Shipping rules that match reality
Flat-rate or free shipping to start, rules by weight, location or cart value from Standard, and live Australia Post, Sendle or courier rates and tracking as a quoted add-on.
Integrations and custom features
Xero or MYOB, your CRM, wholesale pricing, subscriptions or a product builder. Premium includes your CRM integration; everything else is scoped and quoted before development starts.
Careful moves from other platforms
Moving from Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or an older WordPress store? Products, customers and order history come across, ranking addresses are kept or redirected, and the old store stays live until the new one is tested.
Speed, security and updates
Compressed product images, a tuned WordFence firewall, SSL and nightly backups come with the build. After launch you can maintain the store yourself or hand the updates to our maintenance team.

Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
WooCommerce developer questions.
Cost, platform, custom work, migrations and what happens after launch.
Ask us about your store ↗How much do your WooCommerce developers charge for a new store?
A new custom WooCommerce store costs $4,990 for Basic (6 pages), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) or $7,990 for Premium (20 pages), as a one-off build price. Custom features, large product imports and integrations outside the package are quoted before work starts.
Every inclusion is listed on our eCommerce pricing page.
Are your WooCommerce prices inclusive of GST?
Yes. Every price we advertise is in Australian dollars and includes GST, and the GST is itemised on your invoice.
Why do you build every store on WooCommerce?
Because it leaves you owning the store. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, under an administrator login that is yours. It is the only eCommerce platform we build on, so all of our experience goes into it.
Which WooCommerce package fits my store?
Basic suits a straightforward shop with card and PayPal payments and simple shipping. Standard is where most stores land: ten pages, keyword and category research with on-page SEO, customer accounts, product filters and advanced shipping rules. Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, live product search, order tracking and CRM integration.
Ongoing SEO after launch is a separate service.
What payment and shipping options can your developers set up?
Stripe and PayPal come with every package, so Visa, Mastercard and American Express work from launch, and Premium adds Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay. Every store has flat-rate or free shipping, Standard adds rules by weight, location and cart value, and Premium adds a shipping cost calculator and order tracking.
Live Australia Post, Sendle or courier connections are quoted as an add-on. Your payment provider charges its own transaction fees.
Can WooCommerce connect to Xero, MYOB or our CRM?
Yes. WooCommerce can pass orders to Xero or MYOB and customer details to a CRM such as HubSpot, so nobody re-types an order. Premium includes your CRM integration within the agreed scope; other connections are scoped and quoted before we build them.
Can you take over or improve a WooCommerce store someone else built?
Usually, yes. We review the current store, its theme, extensions, product data and hosting first, then quote either the changes or a rebuild and tell you which is better value. A full website redesign is scoped the same way as a new build.
Will moving our store from Shopify to WooCommerce hurt our Google rankings?
A planned migration is designed to protect them. We carry products, categories, customers and order history across, keep or redirect every address that already ranks, and leave the old store live until the new one has been tested. No one can promise rankings through any rebuild, but this is how the ground the old store earned is kept.
How long does a WooCommerce build take?
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Integrations, large product imports and your own feedback time add to that, and we agree the schedule with the scope and price before work starts.
Who looks after the store once it is live?
You can run it yourself with the administrator login, or hand it to us. Our maintenance packages cover WooCommerce and plugin updates, backups, security and support, and managed WordPress hosting is available alongside them.
