Web design Port Macquarie that everyone can read.
DIGITALON designs and builds WordPress websites for Port Macquarie businesses, from health, care and home-service providers to trades working the newer estates and shops along the river. Our team is based at Wurtulla on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, and quotes each price in writing before we begin.
Two readers for every enquiry.
Port Macquarie sits where the Hastings River meets the sea, on the New South Wales Mid North Coast, with Wauchope inland and the Camden Haven to the south. The coastal walk runs past Tacking Point Lighthouse, the Koala Hospital draws visitors, and newer estates such as Sovereign Hills sit on the city's western side.
Many enquiries here involve two people at once. An older resident wants a clear phone number and text that is easy to read, while a son or daughter in Sydney or Brisbane is comparing care, health or home services online on their behalf. A Port Macquarie website has to make sense to both of them.
Is this the right help?
Families compare services from far away, while older locals would rather ring and ask. Both need the same facts, set out simply.
- What you do and for whom
- The towns you cover around the Hastings
- A phone number that is easy to find
SITE
Easy to read, easy to call.
Clear type, plain menus and the important facts near the top serve the reader in Port Macquarie and the relative searching from the city.
- Readable text at every size
- Fees and first steps explained
- Calls and enquiries in one step
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.
Port Macquarie websites, costed up front.
Five pages suit a sole practitioner or a single service; ten give a provider room for each service, the areas it covers and how to get started; twenty suit an organisation with several locations or programs and a news page.

View details ↗Port Macquarie, planned from Wurtulla.
Wurtulla is on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, a long way up the coast from Port Macquarie, and we have no office on the Mid North Coast. We run the project by phone, email and online meeting, show drafts on a shared screen, and in summer book calls in New South Wales time.
It works for providers who spend the day with clients rather than at a desk. Reviews are booked around your visits and appointments, and you tell us what only you know, such as which towns you reach, how families usually make first contact and what older callers ask, before any page is approved.
Written for older readers and their familiesReadable first
Comfortable text sizes, strong contrast and plain menus are part of the design, not an afterthought.
The phone number up top
A number that rings with one tap sits at the top of every page, for callers who would rather talk.
Areas named
Pages list the places you serve, from Lake Cathie and the Camden Haven to Wauchope, so families can check coverage quickly.
First steps explained
A how-to-start page sets out what happens after someone calls or sends the form, so nobody is left guessing.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.

These are websites our team designed and built. They are examples of completed work, not a promise of the same result for every business.

Port Macquarie web design questions.
Prices, GST, readability, families and support, for businesses across Port Macquarie and the Hastings.
Ask us about your website ↗We run an in-home care service across Port Macquarie and the Camden Haven. How many pages do we need?
Ten fits most providers, the Standard package at $3,990: home, about and contact, a page for each service, the areas you cover, how to get started, fees and your team. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included at that level, which means those pages use the words families type when they look for help.
A sole practitioner can begin on Essentials, five pages for $2,990, and an organisation with several programs or locations may suit Premium, twenty pages for $4,990, with a self-editable news page. The packages sit side by side on website design pricing.
We're comparing quotes. Do your prices include GST, so we can compare like with like?
Yes. Every DIGITALON price includes GST. The three packages cost $2,990, $3,990 and $4,990 in Australian dollars, and the tax invoice shows the GST separately. If another quote is ex-GST, add a tenth before comparing.
It also helps to compare what each quote covers, such as stock images, the number of revision rounds and training, since those differ more than the headline price.
We sell mobility aids and home-care products. Can customers or their families order online?
Yes. Standard, at $5,990, suits a range like that, with filters and categories for products, accounts that keep each customer's order history, PDF invoices and advanced shipping rules. Basic, at $4,990, is a simpler six-page shop that takes cards and PayPal and charges one postage rate.
Premium, at $7,990, brings order tracking, which helps a relative in another city follow a delivery, along with Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and live product search. Hosting, the domain, payment fees and maintenance are separate from the build; see eCommerce pricing.
How long does it take, and how much of our own time will it need?
Allow a few weeks in total. A first version normally takes one to two weeks from the start, longer when the site has more to do, and then come three rounds of revisions, paced by your reviews.
Your time goes into a first call, answering the content outline and looking over each draft, usually an hour or two at each stage rather than days.
Can we show photos of our clients and staff on the website?
Yes, with their written permission, which matters even more in care and health settings. Anyone who can be recognised should agree to their photo being published, and you can always choose images that show hands, places and activity instead of faces.
Every package also comes with royalty-free stock images for pages where your own photos aren't suitable, and placeholders hold gaps until you have what you need.
Many of our customers are older and read on tablets. Can the site be easy for them?
Yes, and we design for it from the start: comfortable text sizes, strong contrast between words and background, simple menus and a phone number at the top of every page. Buttons are large enough to tap without zooming.
Each layout is reviewed on phone, tablet and desktop screens before launch, so the site reads the same way on the device a customer actually uses.
Families in Sydney search for services for a parent in Port Macquarie. Will they find us?
They can, if the site speaks to them. From Standard, keyword research shows how families phrase those searches, and on-page SEO names Port Macquarie and the towns you serve in titles, headings and descriptions, with pages that explain fees and first steps for someone arranging help from afar.
On Premium, AI search optimisation (GEO) lets AI assistants describe your services when a family asks for options. What Google or an AI tool shows is their call, not ours, so no ranking is promised; our SEO packages are there if you want search looked after month by month.
Our current site has tiny text and is hard to use on a phone. Can a redesign fix that without losing what works?
Yes. A website redesign rebuilds the layout for easy reading on any screen, keeps the pages that already bring in enquiries at their current addresses, redirects any that change and carries across content that is still right.
A simpler redesign may come within one of the website packages; a larger one, with new systems or many pages, is quoted to scope before work starts.
People send us personal details through the website. How do you keep it secure?
With SSL on every site, the WordFence firewall from Standard, and our maintenance packages keeping WordPress, plugins and backups current. Our Australian WordPress hosting adds 24/7 monitoring on Australian servers.
We also suggest keeping enquiry forms short and not asking for health or financial details through the website; those are better collected through your own client systems.
Port Macquarie is a long way down the coast from you. How do we work together?
Through a single contact at Wurtulla who stays with the project from start to finish, by phone, email and online meeting, with each draft shown on a shared screen. We have no Port Macquarie office, and in summer calls are booked in your time.
Arrange a first call on our contact page; our portfolio shows finished sites if you would like to look first.

Tell us what you do, who usually makes the first enquiry, a local customer or a family member further away, and how they contact you now. We'll recommend a package and its fixed price including GST in writing, then work through the page list with you over the phone or online.
