eCommerce website design services for the store you have.
Not every store needs to start again. DIGITALON looks at the store you already run, then recommends a refresh, a redesign or a rebuild on WooCommerce, keeping your products, customers, orders and the addresses that bring visitors.
Refresh, redesign or rebuild?
An online store that is a few years old usually has value worth keeping: products and photos, customer accounts, order history, reviews and pages that search engines already send people to. It may also have problems: a dated look, a layout that struggles on phones, plugins added one at a time until nobody is sure what they do, or a theme that no longer gets updates.
Our design services start with that store. We review what works, what holds it back and what your business needs next, then recommend the smallest change that fixes it: a refresh of the look, a redesign of the structure and pages, or a rebuild on a new WooCommerce install with your data carried across. The new version is built beside the live store, so it keeps trading.

Whatever holds it back.
Fixed with the smallest change that works.
- A dated or awkward design
- Plugins nobody understands
- Slow pages on a phone
Choosing a refresh, a redesign or a rebuild.
We recommend one of three routes after reviewing your store. Each keeps your products, customers and orders.
A refresh: new look, same build
Colours, type, images, the home page and product page layouts are updated on the existing build. It suits a store whose structure and plugins are sound but whose design has dated, and it is the quickest of the three.
A redesign: structure and pages too
When shoppers struggle to find products or the pages no longer match the business, the categories, menus and page layouts are re-planned as well. Useful addresses are kept, and any that change are redirected.
A rebuild: replace a tired build
Plugins piled up over the years, a theme that no longer gets updates, conflicts after every update or pages that stay slow point to a rebuild on a fresh WooCommerce install, with products, customers, orders and reviews carried across.
What every route keeps
Your domain, products, customer accounts, order history and reviews stay with the store, and pages that search engines already send visitors to keep their address or get a redirect. No one can promise unchanged rankings, but losing them by accident is avoidable.
Built beside the live store
The new design is built on a separate copy you can review while the current store keeps trading. Nothing changes for your customers until the new version has been checked with test orders and you have approved it.
A switch-over without lost orders
Orders placed during the work stay in your store. Just before launch, products, stock and recent orders are brought up to date, the redirects go live and the main customer journeys are checked straight after.
Packages for a rebuilt store.
A store rebuilt on WooCommerce is priced from the package that fits, with the data move quoted; a refresh or a larger redesign is quoted after we review your store.

Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
eCommerce website design services questions.
Cost, GST, which route, accounts, redirects, timing and hosting.
Ask us about your store ↗What do eCommerce design services cost for an existing store?
It depends on the route. A rebuild is priced from the package that fits, $4,990, $5,990 or $7,990, plus a quoted data move; a refresh or a larger redesign is quoted once we have reviewed the store. Every price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Compare the packages on eCommerce pricing, or see website redesign services for a website without a shop.
Does the package price for a rebuild include GST?
Yes. $4,990, $5,990 and $7,990 are in Australian dollars with GST included. Quotes for a refresh, a redesign or a data move state their own price and how GST applies.
How do we know whether we need a refresh or a rebuild?
Look at what hurts. If the store works but looks dated, a refresh may do; if shoppers cannot find things, a redesign; if updates keep breaking it or pages stay slow whatever is changed, a rebuild. We review the store and recommend the smallest change that fixes the problem.
Will our customers have to create new accounts?
No. Customer accounts and order history stay with the store in a refresh or a redesign and come across in a rebuild, so returning customers can still log in and see their past orders.
Do you keep our existing look in a redesign?
We design with your existing logo, colours and photos, and keep what customers recognise. If your branding is changing at the same time, bring the new versions to the project so the store is designed around them.
Which pages need redirects after a redesign?
Any page whose address changes, especially those that bring visitors from search or links. We list the current addresses that earn traffic, keep them where practical and map a redirect for each one that changes, then check them after launch.
Which package suits a rebuild of an established store?
Usually Standard or Premium, because an established store tends to need filters, customer accounts and shipping rules, and Premium adds live search, order tracking and more ways to pay. A larger catalogue's data move is quoted on top.
Which route is quickest: refresh, redesign or rebuild?
A refresh, because it works on the existing build. A rebuild follows the package timing, usually two to three weeks for a basic store, plus the data move; a large catalogue or many integrations take longer, and we agree milestones once we have reviewed the store.
Is a redesign a good time to improve search?
Yes, because categories, page titles and product data are changing anyway. From Standard, a rebuild includes keyword and category research and on-page work, and Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO); no one can promise rankings.
Can we change hosting during the redesign?
Yes, a rebuild is a natural moment to move. You can stay with your host or move to our managed WordPress hosting, sized for your catalogue, with the move planned into the launch so the store stays available. Our maintenance packages can look after it afterwards.
Let's review the store you have.
Send us your store's address and tell us what works, what frustrates you and what the business needs next. We will review it, recommend a refresh, a redesign or a rebuild, and confirm the price and the plan for switching over in writing before any work starts.
