Jewellery store website design that shows the detail.
Jewellery sells on detail and trust: the metal, the stone, the size and the certainty that it will arrive safely. DIGITALON, at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, builds WooCommerce stores for Australian jewellers, from ready-to-wear ranges to custom commissions.
Small pieces, big decisions.
A ring or a pendant may be small, but buying one online is a considered decision. Shoppers want to see the piece up close, understand the metal and stones, know their size and trust that something valuable will reach them safely. Many are buying for an engagement, an anniversary or a milestone, which makes accuracy and reassurance more important than in almost any other store.
A jewellery store website brings that together: options for metal, stone and size that update the price, photos that show detail honestly, certificates and care information where you have them, delivery that protects valuable parcels, and a clear route for custom and made-to-order pieces. Gift messages and sending to someone else are covered in our gift shop guide.

What a jewellery store website needs.
Six areas to plan before a jewellery range goes online.
Options that change the price
A ring offered in yellow, white and rose gold, with three stone sizes and a run of ring sizes, is one product with variations, each with its own price, code and stock. Shoppers see the price change as they choose, and you avoid dozens of near-identical pages.
Getting the ring size right
Sizing is a common worry when buying a ring online. Put a sizing guide on every ring page, explain how to measure a ring the buyer already wears, and state your resizing policy before checkout. Australian ring sizes use letters, so show them clearly.
Photos that show the real detail
Close-up photos of each piece, on a hand or a neutral background, with zoom on the product page, let shoppers see the setting, finish and stone. Photograph every metal colour you sell, so a rose gold option never shows a yellow gold photo.
Certificates, valuations and care
Where a diamond or gemstone has a grading certificate, or a piece comes with a valuation for insurance, say so on the product page and explain what comes with the piece. Add metal and care information; the details come from you and your suppliers.
Delivery that protects valuable parcels
High-value orders need insured, signature-on-delivery services and discreet packaging. Shipping classes can send higher-value pieces by a different service, and local pickup suits buyers who prefer to collect in person. Carrier connections for live rates and tracking are a quoted add-on.
Custom and made-to-order pieces
Engagement rings, remodels and bespoke designs usually start as a conversation. An enquiry form for custom work, stated lead times for made-to-order pieces and, where wanted, a deposit step are part of the plan; deposits and engraving options are quoted extensions.

- Your CRM integrated
Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
Questions about jewellery store website design.
Options and sizes, photos, delivery, instalments, custom work, packages, price, GST, timing, search and moving across.
Ask us about your store ↗What would a jewellery store website cost us?
$4,990 for Basic, $5,990 for Standard or $7,990 for Premium, as a one-off build price. Each includes the design, the WooCommerce build, licences and security set-up; deposits, engraving options and carrier connections are quoted separately. Every inclusion is on our eCommerce pricing page.
Which costs sit outside the jewellery store build price?
Hosting, your domain, payment provider fees and quoted extras such as engraving options or deposits. GST is not one of them: $4,990, $5,990 and $7,990 already include it, and your tax invoice shows the amount. Insurance and carrier charges for valuable parcels are set by your own providers.
Which package suits a jeweller with custom commissions?
Standard, for most jewellers: it adds wish lists, filters by metal, stone and price, customer accounts and SEO. Premium adds Afterpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay for larger purchases, plus live search. Custom commissions start with an enquiry form in any package, and deposit payments are a quoted extension.
Can shoppers choose metal, stone and ring size on one page?
Yes. They are variations of one product, so each combination has its own price, code, stock and photo, and the price updates as the shopper chooses. Ring sizes that are made to order can be options without stock counts, which we plan with you before the build.
How do we reassure buyers about sizing a ring online?
Put a sizing guide on every ring page, explain how to measure a ring they already wear, and state your resizing terms before checkout. Some jewellers send a ring sizer on request. Whatever you offer, the website states it plainly, using your own policy wording.
How should high-value pieces be delivered?
By an insured service with a signature on delivery, in plain packaging. Shipping classes can route higher-value pieces to that service automatically, and local pickup suits buyers who prefer to collect. Every package has flat-rate or free shipping; live carrier rates and tracking from Australia Post or couriers are a quoted add-on.
Can customers pay off a piece in instalments?
With Premium, Afterpay is included alongside Apple Pay and Google Pay, while cards and PayPal come with every package. Lay-by, where the piece is held until it is paid off, is different and needs a quoted extension. Afterpay sets its own limits and fees, and we give no finance advice.
Can our current jewellery store be rebuilt without losing sales?
Yes. After an assessment and a separate quote, products, categories, customers and order history can usually be carried across to WooCommerce, with addresses that rank kept or redirected. The current site keeps trading until the new one has been tested, so sales do not stop during the move.
When can a jewellery store be ready for a busy season?
Allow more than the build time. A basic store usually takes two to three weeks, but photography, variations and product content take longer, so start a few months before Christmas or Valentine's Day. We agree the timing with the scope and price before work starts.
Will the store help us appear in searches for engagement rings?
It can help, through clear product names, descriptions and categories, but no one can promise a position, traffic or an AI citation. Standard includes keyword and category research with on-page SEO, Premium adds GEO, and ongoing SEO is a separate service. You own the store, its content and its administrator login.
Show every piece at its best.
Tell us about your range, how your pieces are made and how you deliver them. Our team at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast will plan the options, photos and delivery for your store, recommend a package and confirm the price before work starts. Design reviews and training happen online.
