Cool eCommerce websites that still load fast.
The stores people remember make finding and choosing products feel easy, sometimes even fun, without making them wait. DIGITALON builds WooCommerce stores with interactive features that earn their place, for a fixed, one-off price agreed before work starts.
Cool is useful, not decorative.
When people call an online store cool, they often mean something specific: search that shows products as they type, a menu that lays out the whole range at once, a quick way to see a product without losing their place, or a tool that helps them pick the right one. The features that impress are the ones that save effort. Effects that only decorate tend to slow the page and get in the way on a phone.
So we choose interactive features by what they do for the shopper, then check what each costs in speed. Premium includes live product search, a mega menu and product compare; Standard includes a wish list and product filters; tools such as quick view, product finders or lookbooks are quoted to scope. Every feature is tested on a phone as well as a desktop before launch.
It was easy to find.
The memorable part is usually the moment a search or a menu just works.
- Results as they type
- The whole range in one menu
- Help choosing the right one

Speed on every phone.
No feature is worth a page that makes people wait.
- Light, compressed images
- Features tested on phones
- Nothing that hides the price
Features that make a store memorable.
Each of these earns attention by saving the shopper effort. Some come with Premium; the rest are quoted to scope.
Live search with pictures
Results appear under the search box as the shopper types, with a photo and price for each, so they can jump straight to the product. Live product search comes with Premium.
A mega menu that maps the range
One dropdown can show every category at once, with images for the main ranges, so a shopper sees the shape of the store in a single move. The mega menu comes with Premium.
Quick view from the category page
A quick-view window shows photos, options and the add-to-cart button without leaving the category page, which suits ranges shoppers browse in quantity. It is a quoted add-on, and we check it stays usable on a phone.
Product finders and gift guides
A few questions, such as who it is for, the budget and the occasion, can lead a shopper to a short list of products. Simple gift guides can be category pages; an interactive finder is custom work, quoted to scope.
Lookbooks and shop the look
A styled photo with the products in it marked and linked lets shoppers go straight to each item in an outfit, room or set. Lookbooks suit fashion, homewares and gifts, and are quoted as an add-on.
Fast enough to stay cool
Every interactive feature adds code to the page, so we compress images, load features only where they are used and test the store on phones before launch. If a feature slows checkout, it is not worth having.

- Your CRM integrated
Hosting, your domain, your payment provider’s transaction fees and ongoing maintenance are separate. The page counts are website pages, not a product limit: catalogue size, product imports, migrations and custom integrations are agreed and quoted before work starts. Compare every inclusion and the optional features on eCommerce pricing, or see website design packages if you do not need a shop.
Your store, your hosting, your login.
Every DIGITALON store is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build. WooCommerce is free and open source, takes no commission on your sales and runs on hosting you choose, with the administrator login yours from day one.
The shop and the pages that bring shoppers to it live in one WordPress site, edited the same way. You can run it yourself, or hand the updates to the team that built it.
No platform commission
Your payment provider charges its transaction fee. WooCommerce itself takes no percentage of your sales and has no monthly platform fee.
Hosting you choose
Keep your own host, or use our managed WordPress hosting, sized for the catalogue and the traffic you expect.
Care after launch
Our maintenance packages cover plugin and WooCommerce updates, backups, security checks and support.
One Australian team
The people who scope, design and build the store are the people who answer your questions, from Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
From brief to first order.
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Extra features and integrations add time, and we tell you how much before we begin.
Scope and price
We agree the pages, catalogue, features and search work, then confirm the package, any extras and the payment stages in writing.
Design
You see the design and sign it off before the build starts, while changing a layout is still quick.
Build and test
Products, payments, shipping and tax are set up in WooCommerce, then tested with real orders on a phone and a desktop.
Launch and hand over
We go live and hand over your administrator login. Standard and Premium include one-to-one training on your own store.

I was very impressed as they were very responsive and helpful as I was a newbie. Good communication with Sabrina who took the time to explain all the process and gave some tips.
Cool eCommerce website questions.
Features, speed, what is included, custom tools, price and timing.
Ask us about your store ↗What does a cool eCommerce website cost to build?
$4,990 for Basic (6 pages), $5,990 for Standard (10 pages) or $7,990 for Premium (20 pages), as a one-off build price; Premium includes live search, a mega menu and product compare. Quick view, lookbooks, product finders and other add-ons are quoted before work starts.
Each package's features are on our eCommerce pricing page.
Are the feature-rich packages GST-inclusive?
Yes. All three package prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, itemised on your invoice. Quoted add-ons are priced in writing for your approval before they are added.
Which interactive features come with Premium?
Live product search with results as the shopper types, a mega menu that shows the whole catalogue in one dropdown, and product compare, alongside Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay, order tracking and AI search optimisation (GEO). Standard includes the wish list and product filters.
Will interactive features slow our store down?
They can, which is why each one has to earn its place. We compress product images and serve them as WebP or AVIF, load features only where they are used and test on phones before launch; hosting sized for your traffic matters too, so see our managed WordPress hosting.
Can you build a product finder or quiz?
Yes, as custom work. We plan the questions and how each answer narrows the range, then quote the build. A simpler gift guide, written as a category page, can often do the same job for less.
Can shoppers see product details without leaving the category page?
Yes, with a quick-view add-on quoted at scoping. It opens photos, options and the add-to-cart button in a window over the category page; we test it on phones, where the full product page is sometimes the better choice.
Can a styled photo link to every product in it?
Yes. A lookbook marks each product in a styled photo and links to it, so shoppers can find every item in an outfit, room or set. It is quoted as an add-on, and the photos come from you.
Do cool features help a store rank on Google?
Indirectly at best. Search engines weigh clear product information, sensible categories and speed more than effects. Standard and Premium include keyword and category research and on-page SEO, Premium adds AI search optimisation (GEO), and no ranking can be promised.
How long does a store with interactive features take?
A basic store usually takes two to three weeks. Each quoted add-on or custom tool adds setup and testing time, and we agree the schedule with the price, so the launch date accounts for it.
Who looks after these features once the store is live?
You own the store and hold the administrator login, with one-to-one training in Standard and Premium. Interactive features rely on extensions that need updates, so our maintenance packages cover WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates, backups and security if you would rather hand them over.
Let's make your store memorable.
Show us a store or two you think is cool and tell us what you sell. We will say which features would help your shoppers, which come with a package and which would be quoted, and confirm the price in writing, from our team at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast.
