Web design Albury that works both sides.
DIGITALON designs and builds custom WordPress websites for Albury and border businesses. One Australian team handles the design, the build, the hosting and the support, at a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
One website, two state audiences.
Plenty of Albury businesses quote work on both sides of the Murray, and a website that only ever says Albury leaves the Wodonga half of the enquiry guessing. We set the service area out in plain words, so a reader in Victoria can tell straight away whether you cross the river and what it changes about price or timing.
The same goes for the towns further out. Albury acts as the service centre for a wide stretch of the Riverina and north-east Victoria, so the site needs to name the places you actually travel to rather than hide them behind one vague line about the local region.
Border searches, split two ways.
The same job gets searched as Albury by one customer and Wodonga by the next, and the site has to answer both without sounding like two businesses.
- Service area stated across the border
- A price or a clear price route
- Contact details that suit either side
SITE
Say where you go.
Clear structure gives Google, AI answer engines and the reader the same account of what you do and how far you travel.
- One page per service
- Towns and travel named honestly
- Forms and calls that work on a phone
What every DIGITALON website includes.
The same Australian team designs, builds, hosts and supports the site, so nothing in the list below is quoted again later.
Designed for your business, not a theme
Every page is designed from scratch in WordPress around what you sell and who buys it. You are not picking a template and hoping your content fits it.
Built to be found
Clean structure, fast pages, sensible headings and metadata come as standard. Keyword research and on-page SEO are included from Standard, and AI search optimisation at Premium.
Readable on the phone first
Most local searches happen on a phone. Layouts, menus, forms and buttons are checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before the site goes live.
Yours to edit
You get the admin login, a site you can update yourself and 1:1 training at Premium. If you would rather not touch it, our maintenance packages cover the updates for you.
Hosted and supported in Australia
Australian cloud hosting, SSL, nightly backups and a support team you can reach by phone or email, with no offshore help desk in between.

View details ↗How we work with Albury businesses.
DIGITALON is based at Wurtulla on the Sunshine Coast, and we work with Albury clients over video calls, screen sharing, email and the phone. We do not claim an Albury office or local staff, and your project is never handed to an overseas team.
Time zones are the one border quirk worth knowing. For most of the year Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria share the same clock, and over summer Albury runs an hour ahead of our Queensland desk, which still leaves a long overlap in the working day.
Australian team, one point of contactTalk to the people building it
You deal with the designer and developer doing the work, not an account manager passing messages along.
Everything in writing
The page map, fixed price and inclusions are agreed before we start, so the final invoice is the number you approved.
Content without the homework
We send a content outline and use placeholders, so the build keeps moving while you gather photos and copy.
Support after launch
Training, maintenance packages and Australian hosting come from the same team that built the site.
We deliver. You celebrate.
A website build runs on a short, predictable path. Most sites take one to three weeks to a first version, then move at the pace of your feedback.
Talk it through
We ask what the business does, who you want to reach and what the website has to achieve.
Agree the plan
You get a fixed price, a page map and a content outline, with placeholders where you need them.
Design and build
We design the pages, build them in WordPress and check them at every screen size.
Review and launch
Three rounds of revisions on structure and content, then launch, training and support.

Albury web design questions.
Prices, timing, content, cross-border service areas and what happens after launch.
Ask us about your website ↗What does a new Albury website cost?
Our fixed one-off prices are $2,990 for Essentials (5 pages), $3,990 for Standard (10 pages) and $4,990 for Premium (20 pages). All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
That covers design, build, stock images, plugin licences and training, so there is no second invoice for the pieces that make the site work. Full inclusions are on our website design pricing page.
Can one website cover both Albury and Wodonga without confusing people?
Yes, and it is worth doing properly. We give the service area its own plain-English section, name the towns you travel to on both sides of the Murray, and repeat that detail on the service pages so a Victorian reader never has to guess whether you cross the river.
Should the site be built around Albury or around the wider border region?
Usually both, in layers. Albury does the heavy lifting as the head term, and the towns you actually service through the Riverina and north-east Victoria are covered in the service-area content rather than in thin copies of the same page.
Which package suits a business servicing towns along the Hume corridor?
If you need home, about, services and contact pages, Essentials is enough. Businesses with several services or a spread-out service area usually land on Standard, which adds keyword research and on-page SEO. Premium suits a business that keeps publishing, and adds AI search optimisation and training.
We sell to customers in Melbourne and Sydney as well. Can the site handle that?
Yes. Being on the Hume between the two cities means a lot of Albury businesses sell well beyond the border, so we structure the site around what you do first and where you do it second, which keeps the wider audience in play without weakening the local pages.
Can you build an online store instead of a brochure site?
Yes. Our eCommerce builds run on WooCommerce and start at $4,990 for a six-page store, $5,990 for ten pages and $7,990 for twenty. Product search, customer logins, shipping rules and payments are set up as part of the build. See eCommerce website development.
How quickly can we be live?
Most sites take one to three weeks from project start to a first version, then the pace depends on how fast feedback comes back. Three rounds of revisions on structure and content are included.
What happens if our copy and photos are not ready?
Nothing stalls. We send a content outline explaining what each page needs and build with placeholder text and images until yours arrive, so design and development carry on in the meantime.
Will the site show up for searches on the Victorian side of the river?
It can, if the content earns it. Standard and Premium include keyword research and on-page SEO, and we treat Wodonga and the Victorian towns you service as real terms rather than an afterthought. No one can promise a position on Google. Continuing work on rankings is our ongoing SEO service.
Are your advertised prices inclusive of GST?
Yes. Every advertised price is in Australian dollars and includes GST, so the amount you see is the amount invoiced.
