A selection of our website design work.
Use WordPress for the content and workflow you actually need.
Bring custom design and manageable content editing together in WordPress. We plan the page structure, publishing workflow and agreed functionality around the way your business works.
01Editable business content
WordPress can support agreed service, team, project, news and contact pages that nominated staff update after handover. The page structure should fit the information your customers need. Decide which changes staff can publish and which require a specialist, compliance or business-owner review.
02A restrained feature set
The platform can support standard content needs without adding a plugin for every idea. Booking, eCommerce, membership, portals and integrations are considered only where they solve a defined workflow. Their provider, licences, updates, data and long-term ownership need explicit project scope.
03Content migration with a plan
An existing website can be reviewed for pages, images, links and customer routes worth retaining. Not every old item needs moving. A planned migration can bring across useful approved content while retiring duplicates, expired offers and pages that no longer reflect the business.
04A practical handover
The build can include an agreed way for staff to maintain the content they own. Set expectations for routine edits and how design or feature changes are requested. Hosting, maintenance, security services and future development are separate arrangements unless the proposal expressly includes them.

View the full portfolio ↗What to decide before choosing the WordPress scope.
WordPress website design should be planned around the content your team needs to manage and the customer tasks the site must support. WordPress can provide an editing foundation, but the useful decisions are page structure, permissions, publishing process and maintenance. Start with those needs before choosing add-ons or features.
An editing plan that lasts
Identify which pages, services, people, projects or updates staff will maintain after launch, and nominate who approves changes. Keep the editing structure suited to that real workload. This helps WordPress website design avoid unnecessary complexity and makes handover more useful for the people responsible for the site.
Existing content and migration choices
Identify useful pages, images, downloads, URLs and forms on the current site, then mark what is still accurate. Provide the approved source material and access details needed for a considered review. A rebuild can simplify content rather than reproduce every outdated field, image or page.
Functions that genuinely need a system
Describe the current process behind booking, sales, payments, memberships, client access or data collection. This allows the project to assess whether WordPress needs a link, an approved plugin or separately scoped custom development. Do not assume every business requirement belongs in the first release.
Ongoing operational ownership
Decide who owns domains, hosting, provider accounts, content updates and technical maintenance after launch. Ask for any ongoing service explicitly. WordPress is a platform, not a promise of unlimited updates, permanent support, security certification or third-party compatibility without a defined agreement.

WordPress website design questions.
A few things to consider before planning your new website.
Let’s talk ↗Can our team update a WordPress website?
Yes, nominated staff can update the agreed content areas after handover. The project should identify what they own, such as service text, team pages or news, and what needs a specialist review. More complex layout changes, integrations and technical upkeep are handled through separately agreed support or development work.
Can WordPress handle booking or online sales?
It can support suitable providers and platforms where the underlying workflow is defined. Booking, eCommerce, payments, memberships and portals are not blanket inclusions. We assess the provider, licences, data, customer journey and ongoing management before recommending an appropriate scope for the business.
Can you move our existing WordPress content?
We can review which pages, images, forms and customer routes are useful to retain. Migration is planned around approved content and the new structure, not an automatic copy of every old page. URLs, redirects, plugins, accounts and data each need their own review before a move is agreed.
Will WordPress need maintenance?
A live WordPress site needs a clear approach to technical updates, backups, hosting and problem response. DIGITALON offers maintenance and hosting as separate services. The proposal should state what is included at launch and what ongoing assistance you want, rather than assuming it from the platform choice.
Does WordPress include SEO?
The website build includes agreed on-page foundations, and current Standard packages include SEO setup while Premium includes GEO setup. Ongoing SEO is a separate service. A platform alone does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or sales, so content and ongoing priorities still need a real plan.
Can WordPress be customised later?
Often, after the business need and existing structure are understood. Start with the content and workflow needed now, then assess future features when they have a clear purpose. New functionality, plugins, integrations and custom development require their own scope, compatibility review and ongoing ownership decision.
What should WordPress website design include?
It should include the agreed page structure, design, content setup, editable areas, testing and handover within the selected scope. The exact package depends on your content needs. Plugins, hosting, maintenance, advanced integrations and specialist functionality are considered separately when they support a defined requirement.
Can we start with the main pages and add more later?
Yes. Agree the essential page list first, then identify the content you would like to add later. We plan the navigation so the initial site is useful on its own. Additional page design, specialist functionality and third-party connections are quoted to their scope when you are ready to proceed.
