Let a portfolio support a practical enquiry.

Give your work room to make an impression. Pair a clear portfolio or event presentation with useful service information and a simple route to discuss a brief.

  1. 01Work arranged around the right choices

A portfolio can group images, projects or event examples by service, subject, format or audience. Short factual notes give visitors context without lengthy sales copy. Permissions, credits and descriptions remain with the creative business, especially where clients, venues or performers appear.

  2. 02Services and enquiry routes

Pages can explain the work you currently accept, your general process and the information useful before a first contact. Quote requests can collect event date, location or brief details. The site should not treat an enquiry as a confirmed booking, price, availability or creative outcome.

  3. 03Optional galleries, stores and bookings

An image library, print shop, ticketing link or booking system can be considered when it supports your actual business process. Online sales, payments, client galleries, protected downloads and third-party platforms are optional scoped additions, not basic portfolio-page features.

  4. 04A portfolio you can keep current

Nominated staff can add agreed WordPress project or gallery content after handover. Establish a simple review for image permission, credits and captions. Complex filters, high-volume media, private client access and external gallery integrations need separate planning and technical scope.

What a prospective client needs before asking about a project.

Fundraising event planner website design should explain campaign event formats, supporter activities and the information a charity needs before planning begins. Use clear pages for gala, community or digital events, then collect the date, fundraising goal, audience and venue status through a focused organiser enquiry.

01

A permissioned body of work

Select completed work, photographs, case studies and testimonials you are permitted to show. Gather accurate project details, collaborator credits and consent where people are identifiable. Avoid presenting styled, editorial or past work as though it is a standard deliverable, price or result for every future booking.

02

Clear services and first contact

Confirm the services, regions, event types and client groups you actively work with. Decide what an initial enquiry should include, such as date, venue, brief and contact details. Explain that a request begins a conversation rather than reserves a date, confirms a quote or guarantees availability.

03

Current galleries and image quality

Prepare web-ready copies of the images you choose, with approved captions and alt text. Decide which material changes most often and who can add it. Large original files, private proofs, video hosting and high-volume galleries may need an optional platform or storage approach.

04

Bookings, sales and platform choices

List the calendar, ticketing, shop, print fulfilment, payment or client-gallery provider you already use. A simple contact route can be a useful first release. Payments, accounts, downloads, live availability and custom integration work need separate provider, fee and ongoing-support review.

Fundraising event planner website design questions.

A few things to consider before planning your new website.

Let’s talk
How much work should a creative portfolio show?

Begin with a concise, current selection that represents the work you want to attract and have permission to publish. Group it around useful visitor choices rather than every historical image. You can add more through an agreed WordPress process after launch, with image rights, credits and factual captions checked.

Can clients request a quote online?

Yes. A short form can collect a project brief, date, location and best contact details for your team. Confirm the acknowledgement and follow-up process first. The page should make clear that an enquiry is not a confirmed booking, fixed price, date hold or promise of a particular creative result.

Can we sell prints, tickets or digital products?

That can be separately scoped when product, payment, fulfilment, access and support processes are clear. Some businesses only need a portfolio and enquiry path. Online sales, customer accounts, downloads, ticketing and payment-provider fees are not included automatically with a general website.

Can we create a private client gallery?

A protected gallery may be possible, but access controls, uploads, storage, expiry, client support and the chosen platform need careful planning. It is not the same as a public portfolio. We can assess the right provider or workflow once you define who needs access and what the gallery must do.

Can we use testimonials and past projects?

Use testimonials and examples you have permission to publish, with accurate attribution and context. They can show real past work without implying that every customer will receive the same style, result, booking availability or commercial outcome. Keep a simple review process for future additions.

Will a portfolio page rank first for our service?

No. A clear portfolio and service structure can make the site more useful, but rankings depend on many factors. Standard packages include SEO setup and Premium includes GEO setup; ongoing SEO is separate. We do not guarantee search positions, quote requests, bookings or sales.

What should a fundraising event planning brief include?

Ask for the cause, event type, expected audience, date, location status and the fundraising objective already agreed. This gives the planner practical context, while selected event examples can remain separate as inspiration rather than a promise of a particular outcome.

Can we start with the main pages and add more later?

Yes. Agree the essential page list first, then identify the content you would like to add later. We plan the navigation so the initial site is useful on its own. Additional page design, specialist functionality and third-party connections are quoted to their scope when you are ready to proceed.
