A selection of our website design work.

Turn a broad website idea into a usable scope.

Start with the pages, content and functionality your website needs. Compare package sizes, identify additional work and agree a clear project scope before design begins.

  1. 01Page count before feature lists

The first useful question is what pages customers need to understand your business and contact you. Current core tiers are 5, 10 and 20 pages. A focused page plan provides a clearer basis for a proposal than assuming every tool or content variation belongs in the base package.

  2. 02Package boundaries stated plainly

The current offer includes SEO setup from Standard and GEO setup from Premium. Those are not a promise of ongoing SEO, rankings or unlimited content work. Hosting, maintenance, migration, subscriptions, payment services and custom functionality are confirmed separately where the project needs them.

  3. 03Optional functionality assessed on purpose

Booking, eCommerce, portals, CRMs, calculators and third-party systems can be valuable when they fit a defined workflow. Each requires the supplier, data, permissions, costs and ongoing ownership to be checked. They are scoped additions, not entitlements inferred from a package label.

  4. 04A proposal built around decisions

A useful proposal records the agreed pages, supplied content, review responsibilities, timeline assumptions and optional work. It helps both sides see what happens at launch and what can be staged later. This is more reliable than a generic promise that every business receives the same functionality.

A website with more

Design gets their attention. Clear information and an easy next step help them decide what to do with it.

Built to be found

A clear page structure, relevant content and a sound WordPress foundation. SEO setup starts with Standard, shaped around the services your customers search for.

Ready for the next search

GEO setup is included with Premium. Clear answers and structured information help search and AI tools understand your business, without promising a ranking or recommendation.

A clear next step

Calls, enquiry forms and supported booking connections belong where people need them. We plan each journey around the action your business wants a visitor to take.

What to bring to a pricing conversation.

Cost of creating a website is shaped by the decisions made before any pages are built. The audience, offer, content, visual direction and visitor actions all influence the work involved. A short, honest brief helps distinguish a useful first site from a project that needs more planning or custom development.

01

A brief that reflects the business

Describe who the website is for, what they need to understand and what should happen after they read a page. Add the services, locations, team information and proof points you can publish. This gives website creation a clear direction without relying on unsupported claims or features that have no role in the customer journey.

02

Features that solve a defined problem

Identify whether you genuinely need booking, selling, payments, forms, customer access, calculators or a connection to an existing system. Describe the current process and who uses it. A feature should be included because it supports the business workflow, not because it sounds like a standard website checklist item.

03

Current systems and third-party costs

Bring the names of any CRM, booking, store, payment, membership or portal provider already in use. Their access, licences, subscriptions and supported connection methods affect scope. A quote should identify where third-party costs or custom development are separate from the core website work.

04

Ongoing ownership after launch

Decide who will maintain content, update products or services, approve changes and manage any provider accounts. Hosting, maintenance and ongoing SEO are separate services unless expressly included. A clear owner prevents the quote from implying permanent updates, support or results without an agreed arrangement.

Cost of creating a website questions.

A few things to consider before planning your new website.

Let’s talk
How do the 5, 10 and 20-page packages work?

They provide a starting allowance for the agreed website pages, not an unlimited feature list. Essentials covers 5 pages, Standard 10 and Premium 20. Build the page list from real customer needs, then discuss whether content migration, extra pages or optional functionality changes the appropriate scope.

Which package includes SEO and GEO?

The current Standard package includes SEO setup and Premium includes GEO setup. Every website build has the agreed on-page foundations. Ongoing SEO, content production, technical improvements and reporting are separate services. None of these inclusions guarantee rankings, traffic, enquiries, sales or an AI-search outcome.

Are booking and eCommerce included?

No, not by default. Booking, online selling, payments, customer accounts, products, delivery and integrations are assessed against your actual workflow and third-party provider. They may be added to a proposal where appropriate, with their scope, subscriptions, data requirements and ongoing responsibilities stated clearly.

What makes a website quote change?

The page list, content preparation, image migration, number of locations or people, optional systems, data quality and review requirements can all affect scope. A site that needs a simple introduction is different from one with products, portal access or a large content migration. The proposal should identify those differences.

Are hosting and maintenance part of the website build?

They are separate services unless the proposal expressly includes them. A new website needs an appropriate live environment, and many businesses choose ongoing technical assistance, but the scope should state the arrangement. This avoids assuming permanent hosting, updates, support or security work from a one-off build price.

Can we launch a simpler first version?

Often, yes. Start with the pages and contact journey that solve the immediate customer need, then stage further content or optional systems when they are ready. The proposal should record what is in the first release and what is deferred, so a simpler launch does not create an unclear expectation.

Why do website creation quotes vary?

Businesses need different amounts of content, design, development, testing and editing support. The cost can also change when a project includes migration, custom forms or external systems. Defined packages provide clear inclusions, while work outside them is discussed as a separate scope.

Can we start with the main pages and add more later?

Yes. Agree the essential page list first, then identify the content you would like to add later. We plan the navigation so the initial site is useful on its own. Additional page design, specialist functionality and third-party connections are quoted to their scope when you are ready to proceed.
