Present animal services with practical information.

Show animal owners your services, facilities and team. Practical preparation information and a clear contact route help people understand what to expect before an appointment or visit.

  1. 01Services grouped by animal-owner needs

Structure care, grooming, boarding, adoption or training information around the services you actually provide. Owners can find the relevant contact route more easily when pages explain the published offer and next step. Veterinary and animal-welfare wording remains subject to the responsible team's approval.

  2. 02Bookings and applications matched to workflow

An existing provider may handle appointments, boarding requests or adoption expressions of interest. The site can link to that route after it is checked. Availability, assessment, suitability and placement decisions should remain clear rather than being presented as automatic website outcomes.

  3. 03Facilities, people and animal information

Approved imagery and factual profiles can introduce your facility, team and, where appropriate, animals available for adoption. Current status needs an owner. The site should not guarantee a pet's behaviour, health, suitability or availability, which depend on the organisation's real assessment process.

  4. 04Information that stays current

Nominated staff can update agreed WordPress content such as hours, service details, adoption information or seasonal notices. Live animal listings, appointment systems, donations, payment tools and CRM connections are optional components assessed against the existing provider and internal process.

What owners and supporters need before contacting you.

Pet sitter website design should show the animals the sitter cares for, the suburbs covered and how visits or overnight stays are arranged. Explain meet-and-greets, feeding notes, medication instructions supplied by owners and update preferences. A simple enquiry form can collect dates, pet type and care routine before the sitter confirms availability.

01

Approved services and animal-care content

List the care, adoption, grooming, boarding, training or rescue services you want to describe, with locations and practical contact routes. The appropriate clinical or welfare lead should approve wording. A website can offer general information, but it should not diagnose an animal or make a health, behaviour or suitability promise.

02

A clear appointment or application path

Decide whether visitors should call, book, request information, apply through an existing portal or attend an approved event. Explain what happens next. A web enquiry should not imply a confirmed veterinary appointment, boarding space, adoption placement or emergency response before your team assesses it.

03

Animal, facility and supporter imagery

Gather current images, approved biographies and factual descriptions you can publish. For animal listings, nominate who checks status and removes outdated material. Avoid descriptions that overstate temperament, health, availability or suitability; the real-world assessment process remains important for each animal and owner.

04

Systems and donations to review

Identify any booking, adoption, donor, payment or customer system that currently supports your work. A link to an existing trusted platform may be enough. Integrations, payment processing, live listings and data workflows need separate supplier, privacy, fee and maintenance assessment before inclusion.

  7. Step 07

    Go live.

Your site launches, with the admin login and the training to run it yourself.

Pet sitter website design questions.

A few things to consider before planning your new website.

Let’s talk
Can clients book an animal-care appointment online?

Possibly, if your existing provider supports the appointment types and confirmation process you need. We can review a link or embed. Where an assessment, referral or phone discussion is necessary, the site can explain that route instead of treating every request as a confirmed appointment.

Can a rescue site show animals available for adoption?

Yes, where there is a reliable process to update status, photographs and approved descriptions. The page should make clear that an expression of interest is not a placement decision. Live feeds, applications, donations and CRM connections are optional scope items that need their own system review.

Can the website give veterinary advice?

No. It can publish responsible, team-approved general information about your services and the appropriate contact process. It should not diagnose an animal, recommend treatment or replace an examination. Urgent or after-hours instructions should be supplied and approved by the veterinary or responsible welfare team.

Can we accept donations online?

Online donations can be considered once the payment provider, receipts, supporter data and ongoing administration process are clear. Some organisations will use an existing donation platform link. Payment processing, recurring gifts, CRM connection and third-party fees are separately scoped, not a default site feature.

Can our staff update the website?

Nominated staff can maintain agreed WordPress content such as hours, services, approved images and general notices. Agree an owner for high-change animal listings or appointment information. Maintenance and technical support can be arranged separately if you need help beyond the initial build and handover.

What affects the quote for an animal-service site?

The page plan, locations, service detail, images, listing volume and optional systems determine scope. Current core tiers are 5, 10 and 20 pages, with SEO setup from Standard and GEO setup from Premium. Booking, adoption, payments, donations and integrations are separately assessed.

How can a pet sitter explain drop-in visits and overnight care clearly?

Give each service its own short page with the typical visit tasks, scheduled visit period, number of pets covered and any handover arrangements. Customers should be able to compare the options before enquiring. Keep special care requests for the follow-up conversation, where the sitter can confirm what is practical for that animal.

Can we start with the main pages and add more later?

Yes. Agree the essential page list first, then identify the content you would like to add later. We plan the navigation so the initial site is useful on its own. Additional page design, specialist functionality and third-party connections are quoted to their scope when you are ready to proceed.
